They say one good turn deserves another, so after The-Dream helped out Pusha T with a dope hook on the (inadvertently?) beef-starting Exodus 23:1, Pusha Ton decided to lend a hand with a dope verse on Dream’s new single, Dope B*tch. Yep, that’s a lot of dopeness. On first listen I had to double check to make sure Dream in fact produced Dope; yep, he did. In that case, Dope’s hard hitting drums and almost boom-bap roots are a significant departure from Dream’s usually swirling snyth sound. Who knew a Dream beat could hit this hard? On the mic though, Dream’s his usual self, laying down smooth line after smooth line in his semi-falsetto before delivering a sure-to-be-chanted hook. DJs, cue up that Dope Chick radio edit. Throw in yet another luxurious verse (word to Isabel Marant) from Pusha and you’ve got just the record that might finally earn Dream’s long-delayed Love IV MMXII album a solid release date. On that we’ll just have to wait and see – in the meantime, press play and take a hit of this dope s**t.

I don't know why, but I was expecting more... and different... and better. Forgettable, which is sad because Dream is capable of forever.

Didn't want to but I had to give it 2 stars. It failed to reel me in. It was really hard to get into the groove of the track. After dropping a bomb like Exodus I was expecting way better. Sounds like they didn't even try hard. Dope was weak too stepped on.

Dream's back with a different, yet highly catchy, sound that should satisfy the haters who complain that he never steps out of his comfort zone. Bravo Terius, you have a summer anthem on your hands!

It's okay...something different. But it's nothing special. I'll give it 3

Let's be honest the Pusha verse was the only good thing about this song and I don't even rate Pusha that high.

I expected the same slow, boring Dream's song but I'm hearing something different. Can't say I totally like this but at least he made something different so let's appreciate the effort!

Something different from The Dream and I don't mind it. I see myself liking it when I hear it, but I would never push play myself.

Really was expecting more, as everyone else has said. The hooks hella weak, the beat mediocre. Pusha sounds great by comparison, but his verse wasn't even that strong.

D-O-P-E! First off, great to hear The Dream doin' somethin' different. This is The-Dream doin' Bruno Mars better than Bruno Mars in my opinion. Totally catchy, the only thing this track is lacking is more spins!

It had the perfect hook, production, but the verses were forgettable from both Dream and Pusha T. Thumbs up for Pusha flow though.
