There are several pick-up lines which exist, that despite their corniness, work more often than not. For example, “Hey baby, I’m going to give you the world.” Okay, so not the most original and you’d be hard pressed to truly follow through on the promise, but try it sometime and see where it gets you. A group that is trying the line could be considered the first cousins to pop-favorites, the Black Eyed Peas. Fusing a unique mixture of Hip Hop, R&B and Latin, The D.E.Y. delivers, Give You The World. Although they too are hard pressed to promise such a thing, at least they can boast about producer JR Rotem’s production, which compliments the message with Top 40 swagger.
They remind me of Fatty Koo, the young group who put out "Bounce, Bounce" last year. I like the diversity between each verse and the hook. It made me want to listen through the entire song.
a great jack off 'black box'... but still they made a sik ass song. Beat is damm good! lyrics are diverse (language) and veryy sly. The overall production is damm nice!...hope they continu 2 make sick songs...
its aight. kinda one of those songs ima have to hear a few times to really like, so im a lil on the fence on how i feel bout this song. beat sounds good tho.
I can really see this group being the next big thing...at least the next big thing in my music collection! This is one of the few songs that got my attention first listen. I love this song! They remind me of city high with the black-spanish mix.
I agree with fdiva92 they do remind me a lot of City High!!! Wow I was wondering what sounded so familiar lol but yeah this is a good song the girl has a unique voice and the lyrics really flow. I give the beat a 6 though, it's not so great.
