To celebrate the upcoming release of their much-anticipated debut EP The Bake Sale, Chicago’s very own hipster duo The Cool Kids are hosting a party on Miami Beach. If there’s one thing that Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks know, it’s how to make sure everyone has a good time; after starting with some driving directions, the fellas are ready to supply the most refreshing drinks to the finest females. As most would agree, the best bet for an atmosphere-setter is appropriate background music and on Miami Beach the Kids have their bases covered. Whether guests’ tastes are towards old-school, house, or electronica, the song is a sure-shot party jam from the 312 to the 305 and everywhere in between.
The production on this is definitely hot. It reminds me of the feel of Bow Wow and Omarion's "Hey Baby". I can rock with this. This is definitely better than the last track I just heard with Ye, Lupe and N.E.R.D. The Cool Kids are still growing on me, and this is one of the nicest tracks I've heard from them. It's not super great, but I can rock with it.
this is the type of track that a skilled DJ could drop in the club at the right time and it will go nuts. I could this being blended with another instrumental during a set.
The Kids are taking over the industry one mega event at a time. They just got placed on the ROCK THE BELLS summer tour bill and they have a real nice EP project dropping like Burmy mentioned in the top. This is HIP-HOP.
I think the beat was nice and the cool kids blended it well with the flow of the song but i was hoping for something done more with the beat but its in rotation
im kinda on the fence with the Cool Kids like some of their songs be cool than the song be cool and i like Mikey ROcks verse better than CHuck but this jawn is okay but this kinda sounds like a 90's song the thing i liked about them before is that their lyrics was a mix of the 80s and today now its 90s LL COOL J that im not really feelin but its okay but i cant see it major gettin air play
This is a tight track but definitely not their best work. It could be a banger if you put it on top of another instrumental or get it mixed with some Fergie..Overall I think the beat doesn't match but it could do a few things on the turntables.
