With their popularity soaring to new heights, Chicago hip-hop duo The Cool Kids won’t stop sticking their hands in the cookie jar anytime soon. In the past twelve months alone Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish have successfully dropped their highly-anticipated The Bake Sale EP, hooked up with Mountain Dew for a promotional single, and toured worldwide with the likes of Nas, A Tribe Called Quest and members of Wu-Tang Clan. Sounds like an entire career for some artists, huh? Before the year is out, however, the duo plans to release their full-length debut, tentatively titled When Fish Ride Bicycles. While we have not confirmed its placement on the previously-mentioned LP, the recently leaked If It Rocks, Let It Knock could be included.
the song will not pick up i cant even pay attention to what they are saying but i saw them in concert on the rock the bells tour and they killed it so i will buy the album. It might be to smart for its own good though
Zzzzz and zzzzz and zzzz...the production isn't bad but they are soo boring in this track. Do they thing they're singing a lullaby?! It's ok, I like the beat
I hate to say it, but the cool kids sound is just annoying to me. They have a few tracks, but you can not build ya entire style around "Grindin" and expect ya sound to have longevity.
cosign on jesavail02 about their formula and style. Thumping bass and hard hitting drums with their flows are pretty much what they do. The song, like many of the people have said is a little dull and boring. Its a decent track, but not something I'd bump too much. "Gold & A Pager" is my favorite track from them, but I like their style, so I'll keep these dudes on the radar.
nah i dont like it, it sounds like a mix of a bunch of they already came out with. Black Mags, 88, and Little Bit Of Gold And A Pager...not feelin it...
Im with J Worthy on this one. I think its a hot track. If you know The Cool Kids then you shouldn't have a problem with a slower paced beat. It goes with there flow and thats what really matters.
