Since The Cool Kids’ debut single, Black Mags, was featured inside our DJ Booth last July, the Chicago duo has been making one huge move after another. After making it to #1 on our Rap charts (the first and only unsigned act to accomplish the feat), Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks inked a deal with indie distributor Chocolate Industries and released their debut EP, The Bake Sale, this past May. Continuing on the road to the release of their full-length album, When Fish Ride Bicycles, the Kids have dropped a brand new mixtape, entitled That’s Stupid (available for online download today). On Dinner Time, the fellas easily handle all the kitchen work (writing, producing, etc.), feeding listeners with a delectable audio treat fresh out of the slow-cooker.
I still havent gotten sick of Cool Kids and i still love their beats but i can slowly see myself beginning to get tired of these guys. The production starts to sound the same after a lot of listens. For now i will live in the moment however and give it a 3
Hey, I was getting tired of "The Cool Kids" as well, but this is kinda tyte. They switched up the vibe up a little bit and the production is pretty fun. I'll throw this is rotation.
This is not the best. It's cool, they deffinatly have asound of there own. I dig it, but they may have to switch it up, I do like um, but the songs are startin to sound the same. I just wonder how long they are gonna be able to keep this up. What else you got Cool kidz?
The Cool Kids are on the Rock The Bells Tour and will be at Chicago's Lollapalooza this summer. Hot damn, these boys are on fire. New mixtape is solid my peoples... cop it.
This iz str8, but I like 88 a LOT better. That beat wuz crazy on that song. Great chemistry between the 2. Chuck english is better lyrically, but mikey rocks brings more swag 2 da mic. And folks, mikey is only 20.
It definitely sounds similar to their other songs but I'm still feeling it. Even though it could get old eventually, it's different enough now that it sets them apart for now. Def. a cool track.
the cool kids are one of my favorites out right now. different then what everyone else is putting out, and not stupid @*#$! like soulja bou typa @*#$!. quality work! & this song is pretty good. the oscar the grouch on the mixtape is fire, btw.
