Underground emcee Thad Reid might not operate on a nine-to-five schedule, but, he’s clearly got a place in his heart for those who do; with his new online series/EP, the Virginia rapper is treating us working stiffs to a little Paid Time Off.  Released this past Monday, the first official leak in Reid’s five-single series is a record that just about all of us will be able to relate to—if you’ve ever experienced the relief of making it to Payday after a tight week, this is your jam.  Shaun E Suave delivers a smooth, sunny synth-guitar accompaniment as Reid fantasizes about what he’s going do with his newfound cash, and rising R&B singer Range heightens the carefree ambiance with his soulful hook and backing vocals.  Those unlucky enough to be out of a job might find this one a bit of a downer, but, for the rest of us, this is Blue Collar Muzik at its best.  Watch for Thad Reid to premiere another populist jam every 1st and 15th leading up to Labor Day weekend, when he will release all five Paid Time Off entries, along with three never-before-heard bonus cuts, in EP form. Next up is Life Soldiers, making its debut July 1st.

That is a Booth regular, so it is no surprise that he turned in another banger. Love the laid back flow and the topic is actually relevant to the consuming public. What I was very surprised by is the dope production from newcomer (to me) Shaun E Suave. I would rock this instrumental under headphones or in he whip.

Yeah Z, I was wondering who was on the boards for that hot production, but I've never heard of this dude. Job well done though! Flow was catchy as hell on here, I got a strong Westcoast vibe on here but dude is from Northeast. Nevertheless, this is easily a very chill laid back feel good type of song. My favorite.

I'm probably not supposed to vote on my own @*#$!, but since I'm new on here hopefully someone can give me some slack! LOL I just wanted to thank Mr. T dot Reid for giving me a shot and actaully doing what he said he was going to do with the track. Rare in this industry. At least from my experience. Much Respect! Also wanted to give a Shout out to Range as well for making my joint as Hot as it could be! Yo I also wanted everyone to know who Shawnesuave is.... Here I B. Yeah It's got that West Coast vibe cuz that's were I'm from. LOL Now you can put a face with the production! Thanks Again Thad You Ripped It.

FIYAHHH!!!
The beat immediately gives you the urge to get your head nod on. And Thad provides a first-class performance on the mic & weaves in and out of beat with superb slickness. While newcomer Range does a wonderful job crooning the hook ... Absolute BANGER!!!

Solid track but I'm not so crazy for it to consider it a banger. Nice rapping and cool production, real hip hop song!

beat sounds nice which is a positive cus thats the first thing l look for in a song. as for the vocals l am not sold. to me he sounds like hes putting too much effort into flow like that. hes coming close to rapping like e-40...and OMG l hate e-40. but its a cool vibe. worth listening to a couple more
