Hate it or love it, the Internet has quickly become the number one artist-launcher in the entire music industry. Proof of that phenomenon is 17-year old, Star Trak signee Teyana Taylor, who is busy telling all her listeners to ”Google Me” on her debut single. Although well-known production duo The Neptunes own her label, producer Jazze Pha steps in to provide a block-party syncopation (a rhythm that puts the emphasis on the beat) with which label bosses Pharrell and Chad have borrowed quite a few times. Like we’ve said before, never underestimate the power of the information superhighway. Taylor will release her debut, From A Planet Called Harlem, later this year.
Hahaha come on gyes U gotta give a gurl who can pull a face like that on camera sum respect lol.. I like it, i think its orriginal and itz kinda a catchy saying.. GOOGLE ME BABAY!!!!!!!!!! haha deffinatly 3tarz
Do any of you guys remember Teyana from MTV's "My Super Sweet 16"? Pharrell even showed up to perform at her party. She has the entire package you'll find from any Star Trak artist, unusually attracting sounds along with a creative twist. I'm not going to be surprised if she gets sued for using the name Google in her song title.
HAha ... it startd off good but just sound like a song i already b4 .... so just got bored durin the corse .... bc sounds like somethin like i heard b4 repeated it bc thats how annoyin it is!!!
This is real catchy....real funky beat...she def. has potential...Co sign Tone+Chef I can see the lawsuits coming as well..maybe they saw it as a way to get publicity
Trust me everyone, nobody is getting sued here. Teyana is signed to Star Trek, who has a deal with Interscope, who is owned by Universal... who is the largest record company in the world. Google is loving her right now. They just increased their revenue when we posted this feature, haha.
Overall, the beat is a little funky, but it sounds like its missing something. Maybe they need another feature from someone else. The chorus sounds smooth. I think its better than just OK, so it can go into rotation...The chorus saves this song...well, the singing part. She's not really that talented a rapper.
she supposed to be a songer or rapper, or both? Either way the song is average at best, same with Jazze Phas production which just all sounds the same to me, and he should get rid of that annoying "ladies and gentleman" crap he puts at the start of all his songs, anyone else dislike this?
i like it its catchy has a funky beat i just dont know about the phrase "google me" its either gonna catch on like fre, or sink like a ship its a hit or miss type of thing
What rich people can do. Just gotta know the certain people and the certain thinggs to do. Wtf is thiss? Google me.. Does she even use gogglee. But this is alrightt but it`s still goingg in my brain wtff!
You know there was a reason that she was on Sweet 16. Does she even live in Harlem? I mean, not from actual knowledge but in order to be on Sweet 16 you have to have a rich family or a famous parent. And I think though she definately has a voice I know black girls downstairs that could sing her out of the water.
If ya'all ever get a chance, check out Babyphatt2 on YOutube. NOW thats a good voice for someone so young.
Peace.
Is that the chick from that MTV birthday show? Just for that I'm not gonna rate the track b/c my s*** will be totally biased...I hate them spoiled ass kids...I'd for real like to snatch 'em up outta there rovers
