This cut may be Tech N9ne‘s first Booth feature, but with over a decade of experience in the game and eight albums’ worth of underground acclaim under his belt, he couldn’t be more qualified to teach a course called Sickology 101. In his head-spinning opening verse, N9ne gives the basics—be confident, make it exciting, don’t bite, leave singing to those who can carry a tune—before ceding the mic to Crooked I for a guest lecture in wordplay. On the back end, Chino XL elects to show rather than tell, harnessing his virtuosic flow to a relentless stream of metaphors and pop culture references. As if the verses didn’t provide enough food for thought, we also get a bonus lesson on production; serving up a hard-banging synth beat, Adam “Wyshmaster” Cherrington demonstrates he’s got plenty of behind-the-board knowledge to impart. Currently in the midst of a nationwide tour, Tech N9ne will introduce listeners to the rest of his star-studded faculty with the April 18th release of Tech N9ne Collabos: Sickology 101 .

Very tight vibe on this track. I like the lyrics and occasional rapid-fire lyrics from Tech, and Crooked I was a perfect fit for this type of track. The hook was a little annoyin, but kinda captivating at the same time. My favorite verse came from Chino XL, tho, cuz dude f- KILT it! His intensity mixed wit the word play (not to mention that bogus CB reference) were just classic. Dude is officially on my radar now. Tight track

Damn!!! I loved his (fill in what Richard says about him in the blurb)! Such a distinctive flow! Also loved the features, damn, this could be anyone's song! Only by the end I noticed the beat doesn't change that much throughout the song, but they had so much energy you'd think otherwise, this is music-flow: doesn't even need a beat! |

About time we got some Tech on here! I've been wondering why he was never included on the site. Killer was one of the best albums of last year (in my Top 5) and I was extremely disappointed to find out it wasn't reviewed here and none of its singles were posted. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Tech, he's a Midwest artist/owns his own label; "Strange Music"; just recently hit the 1 Million albums sold mark. Anyways, Tech is one of the best rappers out right now; his flow is unparalleled and his lyrics are more than enough to get the job done; the fact he's gone so long without notice is a crime. I recommend everyone checks out his last album; it's a classic. Glad to finally see him on the booth.

Lol. In my rant about the artist I forgot to review the actual song. Anyways, this song is classic Techanina; definitely worthy of my 5 stars.
P.S. Does anyone else feel as if Tech is a Midwest/Satanic version of Ludacris? Every time I listen to one of his songs I can't help but feel they would make the best tag team since Meth and Red. |

Straight up five. This is hip-hop at it's finest, and it's good to see somebody making an effort anymore. Chino XL headlined this shit though. Crazy. Crooked killed it hard as hell as well, with Tech N9ne doing the same. Hard to order Crooked or Tech, but I've always been a Chino fan. All are beasts though.
