In 2005, Teairra Mari released her self-titled debut album with Roc-A-Fella Records. Though hailed as “Princess of the Roc,” her reign would not last long; she was dropped by that label the following year. Three years later, the Detroit native would re-emerge signed to Interscope with buzz single No No No; while that received moderate praise (and served as DJBooth’s introduction to Charles Hamilton), it was soon cancelled and the record was given to girl group Dear Jayne. Not the type to play the damsel in distress, Teairra has hit the ground running with the official first single from her sophomore album, At That Point; on Hunt 4 U, she’s at the spot looking for Mr. Right, and refuses to leave the place until she finds him – fortunately for Teairra, Pleasure P is also looking and will stop at nothing to find the right woman for him. Written by Rico Love and produced by in-house beatsmith EHood (for his own E2 Productions and Rico’s Division 1), Hunt 4 U should bring Teairra the other thing she’s searching for: Billboard success.

not my cup of tea, but i know a good song when i hear one and this is just okay. the hook could have been better. pleasure p surprised me though, i;ve never heard him sing in this tone. the song should do at least average on the radio.

Hmmmmm she kind of surprised me- her voice is good and I'm glad she actually put it on a simple but good beat. but PLEASURE was the Highlight of this song=)...His voice is so fuq-n SEXc you can't no want to hear it over and over again.- He makes me miss my ex boyfriend though. :( (tear)
It's in rotation. (However, I would've only given it a 2 star if Pleasure weren't on it.) |

Oooh, haven't heard from T.M in a while. She's still a cutie. I liked the vibe a lot. This is definitely a hit for the radio. The production was fire and Teairra's vocals were smooth. Pleasure P did his thing as well.

i can tell it has a easy mainstream pop appeal.. with all these duets out lately theres no doubt they were 'on the hunt' not just for eachother (lol) but for radio play. im kinda feelin it tho. |

Yeah I'm feelin this song. It's smooth and has a good beat. Her voice is sweet and I also love all the other voices singing with her. In my opinion this will do good on the radio

I must admit it's catchy as hell and should appeal for crossover success. I mean that's all Beyonce and Rihanna are nowadays... straight pop to make that mula. Can't hate her for even letting the folk know it's for the radio.

Teairra's melody on the hook is too repetitive (mispell?) and Pleasure should have kicked in earlier, and been a lil more involved, like some harmonizing or some back and forth or something, ehh
