When I saw the title of Booth newcomer Taylor J’s latest single, Fact Of Life, I was expecting to hear a sample from the theme song of Facts Of Life, an popular 80’s TV show. Producer Jazze Pha, however, had a different vision in mind for the tune, cooking up an original, jazzy (pun intended) beat which perfectly compliments Taylor J and guest Nipsey Hussle. Taylor impresses on his Booth debut with a notably charismatic flow, while Hussle matches Taylor’s effort by delivering a verse, full of tongue twisting wordplay, dedicated to those who may be jealous of the duo’s successes. Fact Of Life is the current single off of the Minnesota native’s latest album, Control. The Shaheem Reid-hosted project is available online now.
