When the esteemed Talib Kweli dropped his spine-cracking single I’m on One way, way back in January (ok, not that way back) the aggressive cut was largely met with praise from DJBooth Nation. With a start like that a remix couldn’t be far behind, and sure enough today Kweli crosses the Mason-Dixon line to recruit the rhyme talents of G.O.O.D. Music representative CyHi Da Prynce. Talib’s punchline heavy flows are the same here, as is Khrysis’ hypnotically banging beat, so the real story here is Cy, who continues to build on impressively growing catalog of verses that touch on everything from the ladies’ seemingly boundless love for him to Herman Melville’s opus: “Now I’m doin’ well (whale) / all these diamonds on my Moby Dick.” Do I even have to ask the inevitable question? Actually, I think I do. Which version would you rather get on, the original or the remix? The original version is one of my favorite records of 2011. So, duh, we had to feature the remix with an emcee like Cyhi attached. Honestly, this song makes me want to start a fight. I might or might not be alone in that musical feeling, but its got me all riled up.

Cyhi is everywhere right now. I'm not that familiar with the guy but it seems like he's on every damn record.
Talib's always been one of my favorite emcees. Oh & Khrysis is a beast. |

Damn, remind me to get out of Z's way when this comes on.
Original bangs, and CyHi's verse is definitely worth a second listen. Would have been nice to hear something nice from Kweli as well, but that's just the kind of over-demanding dude I am.

I dont know what it is, but these 2 together go perfectly together. Well, them by them selves are amazing alone. Usually when 2 great ppl team up its a huge fail, but these 2 are doing great in this. CyHi Da Prynce always has the best part in ANY song. And Talib has made many records that i love. The production in this is really nice from Khrysis. This is a very solid record.
