tabi Bonney has been absent from the Booth since last July, but haters who thought they’d gotten rid of the DMV mainstay for good can think again. Today, Ghetto tab is back to cut naysayers and sucker emcees down to size on Get Me, leak numero uno off his forthcoming mixtape project. Here, beatsmith Arsonal delivers a sparse, percussion-driven instrumental more likely to cause a deep freeze than start a fire on the dancefloor, and Bonney comes with laid back rhymes to match, spitting a wintry mix of nonchalant trash talk and blasé braggadocio. The up-and-comer heads off verse two with the prophecy that, by this time next year, he’ll be able to afford a brand new Bentley. Will Bonney will be flush enough to drive home in that new ride by spring 2011? Here’s hoping that the emcee’s latest street album (which has yet to receive a solid release date) sets those gears in motion. If you’re digging Get Me, keep it locked; we’ll be bringing fans the exclusive world premiere of leak number two sometime next week.

ok the beat is very different...lets see where he takes me...great scratching...he riding that beat even though his rhyming at tight...i don't understand the hook...i wish he could have been more creative...this beat really over shines him though...the beat got me nodding my head not his flow...that train effect was not needed at all...ok i kind of understand it now...it works if you keep listen to it for a while because of that damn beat is pretty addictive...small rotation...

The production made me immediately think Clipse "Grindin". That's a CLASSIC record. This isn't far behind that. [Plays Again]

Scratches on the hook are heat; ping-pong rhymthm in the back sounds exactly like Red Cafe's Hottest In The Hood beat

The beat makes the song but other than that I wasn't that impressed by Tabi. The hook was wack and by the end of the song, it just sounds dumb. His rhymes were decent but his flow was off which ruined everything. Could of been better but overrall was just average.

The beat is sticky, but overall, nothing really special about this

Not feeling the beat AT ALL. Loved his last track "Nothing But a Hero"

One of those tracks where I feel like I must be missing something when I read the comments. I have to agree with @sexynatural, it's good, but nothing special. And sorry @PlanB, I see where you're going with the Clipse parallel, but I listen to the Clipse, I write about the Clipse, and this sir, is no Clipse.

"Inoffensive while it lasts, the song has very little to no replay value for me."

Different kind of beat...I want to like it more than I do. Lyricism...ehhhh....ok. His voice is too soft for me.
The "heaayyyy" thing is killin' me...lose it please. |

I specifically like, tabi Bonney. Due to the fact of, he's himself. He's not afraid to be different. Therefore, I can understand where he is coming from. He is using his own, unique personal. I have no complaints, I specifically rated five stars. Because, his flow, lyrics, and beat is on point. Therefore, you can not get no better than this...
