I'm definitely not going to forget my boy T.I. This is a pretty sick track. T.I. always comes hard and Mary sounds great. Also feelin the production and the topic of the song.

The lyricism and subject matter on this track is on the same level as on PaperTrail, and why shouldn't it be? This is in rotation, if not just for the message it's sendin out. We'll be waitin for you, Tip.

this is not at the level of dead and gone and slide show, but it sure is another hit. mjb did right on the hook and bridge, t.i. came on point on his verses. and the production is mad energetic, loving this

The production by Polow Da Don is simple yet catchy at the same time. Mary J. Blige on the hook creates an anthem type feel to the song. T.I. does his regular thing and spits some hot verses. Banger!

I gotta side with dillon on this one. We obviously have huge respect for Tip, but this just wasn't a song I would listen to on a regular basis. Liked the message, but it's kind of like a "Dead and Gone" part 2 to me.

EPIC. Everything that needs to be said, I said in the blurb.
...well, except for the fact that I'd LOVE a "going away card" remix with all the Grand Hustle artists on there-Dro, Kuntry, LA, Bobby Ray, Ball & G, Ricco, Drama, JR Get Money, Xtaci, Killer Mike-maybe even bring over BG for a guest verse! That would be one "mega-remix" I'd just LOVE! Too bad Alfamega couldn't have just told the truth about back in the day-he woulda been a GREAT addition to that too! |

I wouldnt say this is my favorite T.I. track (far from it), but its still good enough to warrant a place im my rotation. T.I. has really impressed me with these deep & meaningful tracks he's coming out with & Mary J was a good choice to sing the hook.
I would be seriously disappointed if 'If I' featuring Justin Timberlake isnt the first single off the re-released Paper Trail. That track is a definite hit. |

T.I. never disappoints, and this right here was nice. I like the MJB collab, they go sound good together. Mary knows how to hit those damn notes. I'm definitely feeling this, and I can't wait till 2010 to see what Tip brings us.

I really like the toned down energy on this track, usually T.I. comes real hard which aint a bad thing, but I'm feeling the more laid back flow, fits perfect with the song, and Mary J blows the hook up

I'm digging the production, it has a good vibe. Mary J sounds good in the hook. I'm not a big fan of hers but she's good in here! What I think is that T.I.'s flow doesn't fit the beat so much...I find his verses quite boring! Banger anyway

Well, It's in rotation. It's not amazing but it's not bad. I tell what is amazing, this Djbooth layout. I like change.
Btw @ Z have you heard 'I'm Goin' In' with Drizzy and Wayne. I'm not sure when exactly it came out but I heard it about 2 months ago. Do you think it's too late to feature in the booth |

This is a great joint. The production is dope...but it's something about it that screams "generic" to me. IDK...I'm not hating my any means, it just does. I love MJB too, but it just sounds like the same situation. For someone like her who depicts artistic hooks, this is a little simple and poppy (though I love pop music), it's awkward for her to be doing it. For some reason, if this was Rihanna singing, it would be totally okay for me. That's weird that I feel that way, but IDK...lol
Overall, it's still a great TIP song, but not better than anything on the original Paper Trail. |

@M.H. - I agree, there were several better choices on the original for singles, but this is more of a farewell record.

They new layout is almost as dope as this song right here. I don't know why T.I.P seems overally concerned about people forgetting him. He is a beast in the game and to me if Em can go 4 years without dropping anything relevant I think T.I followers (me) will be here waiting for his next art work.

All I gotta say to T.I. is this: "Don't forget to remember how to rap when you get out." Lol. Yeah, I love this right here. That production is dark; my second favorite type of production, second only to an artist spittin' behind some classical music. All in all, I must say that this is Banger.
By the way, why is everyone hatin on my girl MJB? Beautiful woman with an amazing voice...I gained a lot of respect for her after "Runaway Love." And she did great on this one too. I wish she could have had a verse...that would have been cool. |

Nobody's gonna forget T.I.-especially now that AP reports are saying he might only serve two months in the slammer (he's getting credit for his 305 days of home confinement).
Still, it remains a CLASSIC-can't wait to see Tip still on his new vibe when he gets out this July (if such reports are true) |
