T-Pain - Kiss Her
Producer: Clinton Sparks & DJ Snake
Album: RevolveR
Label: Konvict/Nappy Boy/RCA
In this post-Katy Perry era, I feel like the whole “drunk straight girls making out for attention” thing is a little played out but hey, who am I to argue with T-Pain on matters of liquored-up hedonism? As evidenced by newly released single Kiss Her, the Nappy Boy head honcho still finds the sight of two females playing tonsil hockey to be totally f***ing awesome (of course, it’s not so awesome that he’s not going to try and get in on the action). Pain’s tried and true, Auto-Tuned come-ons, along with the driving, synth-drenched boardwork of co-producers Clinton Sparks and DJ Snake, make for a club scorcher sure to get bodies out onto the floor – as well as inspiring plenty of intoxicated shawtys to do just as the title says. Fans of the top-hatted dance-pop hitmaker can find Kiss Her and plenty more party-ready jams on T-Pain’s fourth studio album, RevolveR, set to hit store shelves and online retailers May 4.

Teddy's got a club banger on his hands. This surely isn't the the best I've heard from Pain but it serves it's purpose. I love the production on this. I've never been too impressed with Sparks up to this point but there's no denying how club-ready this is. I can't say I'm excited for RevolveR but, based on the singles, it definitely has some potential in the clubs.

Ok I know people are going to say just a club banger. This is exactly what I want to hear from teddy pain however. This is what gets him paid. His rapping didn't pay off for him, taking it back to his first few albums is when he was at his best.

The productions great...but I just cant feel Teddy on this.
I know he isn't known for being an amazing lyricist. Still, his energy does not come close to matching the energy of the beat. |

The technoish beat drives usually drives me insane. But its something about the combination of the T-Pains autotune and the technoish beat that makes me like it. It's a clubbanger but I can't see this being played on the radio non-stop. Overall it was good.

woahhhh loving beat production, hypnotic type instrumental definatly a plus but the intro lines from pain and the scream elongated type chorus is kinda annoying then the follow up K-i-s-s-i-n-g line was pretty wack
definatly my type beat and the pause in the middle-end going into the K-i-s-s-i-n-g chorus was intresting i give it a 3 but nothing more |

I feel like we're overusing the term "club banger" here. Yeah, it will definitely hit in the clubs (especially among dudes who want to see chicks make out), but it's far from a banger. Take Your Shirt Off was far more of a banger, this has a more mellow, bouncing techno vibe.
Either way, I've got no doubt it will be more than a couple people's new favorite track. Personally, I could take it or leave it. |

It's a good song if you like T-Pain, but it's very typical of his style and pretty much nothing new. It sounds very similar to everything else he's done.

As stupid as some of the lines in this song are, it makes me laugh and isn't entertainment all we can ask for in a song? Not to mention this is undeniably catchy(at times). This won't go on my ipod, but roto fasho.

I haven't really liked anything off of "RevolveR" so far, although this isn't too bad. I could definitely grow on me and I don't see this getting too big on the charts...although look at "Rude Boy"...

'When in doubt, make a club banger' seems to be the music industry's current view point about launching albums on to store shelves & in this case it may work. The production is decent & T-Pain always sounds good (when using auto-tune) on club songs (usually as the guest feature though). This is a good chance to be the single that finally gets T-Pain the radio hit he's been desperate for.

T Pain kinda fell off since that Jay Rant but he still good money for some <roboticletic> tunes. If the Keshas of the world get a hold of this track then its a bonafide hit

Another comeback from T Pain!
a banger thats pretty catchy. A step forward from Thr33 Ringz. I can see this guy hittin the clubs with his bangers. Another song to add to his collection of new songs like 'Take Yuh Shirt off' and definitly 'Reverse Cowgirl' |

WOW!! All I have to say is that the production is absolutely crazy...One of the best sounds I've heard in a while. Although I'm not the biggest
T-Pain fan in the world...we all know that this will be a a hit for sure whether it be on the radio or club scene. |

T-Pain's got the club bangers on lock these days, that autotune seems like it only works for him. but good work, definitely should get the girls on the dance floor, if you know what I mean haha

Fails to understand the "I wanna hate but I cant" or the calls of this being a guilty-pleasure.
For me, it isn't grating to listen to, but this don't stick with the listener much after its closing notes have silenced. A 3:30 minutes long chorus which is really not THAT likeable to begin with. It's neither good nor bad, its fine, and then it's over. It feels like it should be more than that, but what can you do? Take Your Shirt Off > Reverse Cowgirl > Kiss Her |

No doubt this will be on the radio and getting stuck on the mendula hamster wheel thanks to its addictive school age hook. Pain is always ready to sernade some chicks with his Penthouse editorial tracks but what makes it dance floor breezy is the beats he's laming over. Certified Miami Memorial Day weekend 'blame it on the Pain and Patron' theme song this year.

Finally, something that gets me at least somewhat pumped for his album. Much better than Take Your Shirt Off and Reverse Cowgirl.
By the way, beat bangs. This is club worthy for sure. |
