In 2008, the music industry’s two most in-demand collaborators (T-Pain and Lil Wayne) decided to pool their star power and join forces. Thus, we were treated to two Billboard Top 10 hits: Got Money (the third single from Weezy’s soon-to-be-triple-platinum Carter III) and Can’t Believe It (the first single from Pain’s soon-to-be-gold Thr33 Ringz). Today, we present a T-Wayne collaboration that didn’t make the cut for either album. Over a laid-back beat, Pain approaches a fine lady who’s sitting all by her lonesome to send her a simple message: “Snap Your Fingaz and I’m there.” Though Weezy’s guest verse is relatively short, it’s enough to add to the ambience – still, if you judge Snap Your Fingaz alongside Can’t Believe It, it’s obvious that T-Pain made the right choice.

Im not gonna be bias and rate this a classic because of the $$ and success these guys have gained. To me this aint nothing special. The production is a nice slow club feel but it doesnt stand out. T-Pain did solid and Wayne was good although it was pretty short. This one isnt as good as Cant Believe It. I can put it in rotation though

This is a hot track right here. T-pain always comes out with something fresh and catchy, especially with Lil Wayne who is a perfect artist to collaborate with. T-Wayne should sell a mill with these kind of productions on it. This is far better than "I cant believe it" because u can actually understand what wayne is saying and t-pain verses are just unbelievable. This is a banger that for sure get a lot of play.

i really like the beat, so chill. t-pain comes alright, but it's just not grabbing me. wayne is sharp, but from these two, i expect them to grab my attention. as mentioned, is the reason it's a leftover: just doesn't cut it

T-Pain has a WHOLE lot of music left over from the Thr33 Rings album! I know because I have about 2-discs worth of unheard material. Anyway, this is COOL right here! The beat is nice and crisp with a catchy chorus that is sure to make you groove. T-Pain sounds excellent and the beat changes are sick! Good Job all-around here. Lil Wayne isn't too good here, it would be just as good with or without him. This is a CERTIFIED DJ BLAZE BANGER!

From the name of the song, I thought it might be some overdone B.S.
This is a more classic R&B record. I can dig it. It would be a good slow jam for the club. For some reason, it reminds me of my school dance freshman year of high school in 2002. I liked Wayne's part as well. This should have made the cut. No doubt. |

This has a nice melody too it and its a good relax song... The production is certainly solid... It's a clear strength of his, one that absolutely belongs on every CD he releases...... so here's my lil biased rating ..... ohweeeeee ..... keep doin ur thing Teddy ....

This was just ok to me. A lot of sources have been saying this is the first single from their collabo album but I wasn't believing it. Definitely sounds more like a leftover, and it was just a little too laid back and boring for me.

CB - most sources are little teenagers in their bedrooms with a power source and keyboard, haha.
This would have been a decent album cut, but it was best they left it off the album. Nice production by Pain, but nothing out of this world. I am looking forward to their joint album, so long as Wayne gets more mic time. Thoughts from my Booth friends? |

Heat. Teddy continues to shine on slow jams. Weezy is wayne. So you know this was gonna be good as soon as the beat dropped. This is love making 09 right here.

@ DJ Z: A joint album from these two would be crazy! But I said the same thing about the joint album that never came out from Wayne and Juelz...so who knows??? And DJ Xcon, I think he's saying "I know you can't wait for that special song," not special sauce! LOL

I heard this was gonna be the 1st single off Thr33 Ringz... That idea faded, and so when I saw this on the web last week I was suprised. Personally, I'm loving this, the production is super smooth, straight hot. I think a joint album is unlikely but would work nice. Who would sing more hooks, Auto-tune Weezy or Pain? How about T-Pain rapping and Weezy on the hook? Could be interesting

This song is just OK to me... I actually like the production, but the overall song just made me bored. The hook is boring, and T-Pain is lazy on it. Wayne's verse was nothin special, but I liked it after listening to the first 2 1/2 min. In rotation b/c I like the smooth feel of the song and Wayne was a good change of pace.

So we are still snapping our fingaz huh? Ok. I guess I just thought we were finished. T-Pain has a good formula working here. I like the cool, chill vibe he's created w/ the production. The verses start sound too redundant and boring. Wayne was ok, I know he can do way better. But this isn't really the type of song for him to just spit mad fire. This works for me....

it took me a long time to figure out what i really think of the song, after several listens i realize this a major hit! at first i agree wit Z, u could tell why he picked cant believe it for the album, but now i think they are incredibly close on my ratings
(this song is def goin to be one my next slow jamz mix) |

My first thought is, I expect way more from a T-Pain and Weezy collabo, I can definitely say Can't Believe It was better...BUT that being said it could be the type of song that grows on me. I'd listen to it, but definitely not a favorite.
