In late 2005, Lil’ Wayne and Juelz Santana announced their plans to record a collaborative album, entitled I Can’t Feel My Face. The project never materialized, however, and their recorded work remains unheard. Three years later, Lil’ Wayne is once again discussing the possibility of a collaborative album, except this time his coworker will be T-Pain. While nothing is official and neither artist’s label has signed on to the idea, T-Wayne (as they have dubbed themselves) has already revealed that they are a handful of songs deep into the potential project. Can’t Believe It, the first single off Pain’s Thr33 Ringz, is the exact opposite of the duo’s current charting single, Got Money, and features both artists on autotune. We know, surprise surprise.
The production on here is nice and smooth! I am definitely ready for the T-Pain and Lil Wayne colaboration album! BRING IT ON! It is gonna be CRAZY (if it ever works out). The beat is really nice and T-Pain is FAR from annoying on here. He blends in perfectly with the melody! Lil Wayne comes on the Track and does his "BLACK ROCK" type thing...(for those of you that don't know...Lil Wayne is no longer a traditional "rapper" in my book...he grooves to the beat like a rock n roll artist...hence the terminology Black Rock). This is CLASSIC $hit in my opinion! SICK!
Damn...this is simply a great song. The thing i like about these 2 artists is that they are creative and make their own styles. Anyone that doesn't appreciate creativity needs to spice their music interests up a little bit. Pain is finally winning me over I guess. What a smooth piano laced track. It's good to see this type of song from Pain and Wayne, I really like it! We are witnessing 2 of the industry's genius's of our generation and I really hope this collabo album works out! Classic!
Pain is a genious! One of the greatest this gereration has. F the fact that he uses the voice box. With him using it, it will never truly get on my nerves. This is what I call a quiet song. Simplly incredibly produced. Soft yet powerful. The type of song that you can do damn near anything too. I can make love to a track like this, ride to it, work out to it, or just sit in peace and think about @*#$!. Wanye makes it his own. What else is there to say?
I think the beat is raw hell! And I think they make a great combo together. And I truly luv T-pain and Wayne but it's like he spits non sense sometimes. Don't get me wrong his cd stays bangin' in my car but some of it's like.....oookay?
This is way better than "Got Money". This should have made it on the "Carter III" instead of the latter. This bangs. T-Pain always produces some smooth production and with the auto-tuner, he usually serves it nicely. I'm loving the vibe. Oh, and definitely DJ Blaze. Lil Wayne hasn't been a traditional or "normal" rapper for a long time. Just sometimes he's hit and miss. This right here tho...this ish right here....right here....he hit it out the park and through somebody's car window in the parking lot across the street. Wayne's verse was spit very uniquely. Classic
i wuz bangin this song on tha way to work this morn...i love it...real talk...tha only complaint...u cant really hear wayne that much...i had to strain to catch wut he wuz sayin...but other than that its a straight banger...~
I am absolutely lovin this track right here! It's just chill, lay back music. T-Pain is dat dude when it comes to production excellence. I think his last album Epiphay was great. Will def. buy this one if it comes out. And this shouldn't be a "throw away" track. Put this on radio ASAP!
T-Pain, one of my top favourite artist. Why? Material like this. Top notch, "lay-back-and-move-your-fingers-in-the air" music. Always delivers. I stopped listening to Got Money after about 20 seconds, but this is just smoke. Fantastic.
This is a great combination with T-Pain and Lil Wayne. I downloaded this about 4 days ago and I cant stop listening to it. It has a catchy melody and it is a nice summery song. T-Pain was on fire and Lil Wayne's part is cool. This is gonna get major radioplay. 5; straight classic
Production is smooth and catchy but yet TOO MONOTONOUS and gets old fast! The idea of the song could have had a better use. I like Wayne's part, but that's it. The melody by T-Pain is uninspired and bores me. Less "yeaaahs" and more creativity please!
production is straight put u too sleepy melody...almost like those nature cds you see in target and walmart lol...idk how any of u can honestly rate this song a 5...t-pains verse is typical...i struggled to let it reach wayne's part...and when he came on turend it stragiht off...i get money is alot better than this...
What high ratings! Can't believe it! To me this is really boring and monotonous (thanx FredRico for expressing what I think). It's known I don't like T-Pain coz I can't stand the voicebox, but it's also true that if he makes good songs I like them, voicebox or not. But this is average in my opinion! The music is good, smooth, catchy (FredRico I'm about to steal your comment lol) but they say only yeah. Last but not least, I'm feeling Wayne's part, although I don't like his voice. To me bridges in the songs are always the best coz they break the monotonous sound
Damn ya'll need to quit lookin at the artist and actually listen to the song when you rate it. I heard this song a few days ago and this is pure trash. You can barely even understand Weezy's verse, and the chorus is lame along with the beat. Some of you see "T-Pain ft. Lil Wayne" and automatically rate it 5. I'm really hoping this is a throwaway track.
I'm not a T-Pain fan but there is no way I could knock this song. It's different from his usual singles which is a great thing. It's hard to hear wayne but after listening to it a couple times, his verse fits well with the song.
This song is cool. The beat is so relaxed. T Pain kills this. But I can't stand Wayne with a voice box. and when he sings. The got Money song was hot Wayne was trash on here. It would be straight to see an album from them but the most I think there will be are mixtapes just like with Juelz
Took me a while to catch the hook so monotone it all goes together too much...with the ratings I was expecting this song to knock me out of my seat...and it didnt even come close...Wayne couldve came harder but yeah Blaze he does ride the h el l out of a beat...no ho mo....other than that this dont do it for me
I can respect what they are trying to do on this track i just think it fell short production wise, i love a simple beat but this one sounds a little to off brand...
Its alright, I'm with blkgotti79 and JayhawkAI3 on this one...When you listen to the track it kinda should be expected to come with some fire but it really doesn't. Its Okay but lets be serious DJ Blaze and jsin06mm if you think this track is a "Banger" your cred just dropped a bit..
i LUV Got Money....dat joint goes hard!....4 DIS song- im like-n t-pain's voice and i luv Weexy F Baby on da voicebox....damn tho, real talk, Wayne SUX when he'z sing-n LIVE....but he does put on a great show... but i agree wit FredRico- DIS will get old fast...itz a 3 for me.
Wow WTF!!!!!! THis is one of the gayes songs ive ever heard!! How do people like this. I like T-Pain, and Wayne but this song sucks, its way to slow and the beat sucks. It took forever for Lil Wayne to come and then his verse sucked. Im pretty sure this song is going on Thr33 Ringz
wtf is gping on, my people?!?! this joint is str8 garbage, B!!! there is barely a beat, for one. two, wtf is tpain talking about... all he is saying is 'yeeeahhh'... corny. third, im a wayne head, but WTF?!?!?!?! CORNY!!!!! this joint is mad boring. the only way to like this joint is to have a t-wayne cough syrup mix in a styrofoam cup in your hand while smokin a blunt...
mad whack.
=)
WOW!!! Absolute classic! T-Pain officially to me set himself from almost all R&B artists (his "Hard & B") Weezy does his usual and expect this song on radio every 10 minutes!!! They must make an album!!!
I agree with people who dont like this song to much it is kinda boring and slow. It has a nice beat on it even though the beat is not good but I do like the nice fell atleast but I do agree with Jayhawk on people rating this high because they see T-Pain and Lil Wayne or T-Wayne as they like to call themselves now witch has got to be the gayest name for anybody I have ever heard and they just put a high rating up. 2.5 stars T-Wayne please.
this just another smooth t-pain jam. very catchy and all around great summer song. i actually wasnt feelin wayne. just couldnt really connect with his verse. still gunna be a hit
zzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzz this is some put me to sleep type music.... and I'm the biggest Wayne and T Pain fan you will ever meet.... The only time I would listen to this track is if I'm cuddled up with a girl on the couch that I haven't hit yet... It's not dirty enough for the bedroom but it's to chill for the whip or the club... it's nice background music... Can't wait to hear more from T-Wayne though..
Cats are giving this a Classic rating and gave Nas-Slay Fox 4s and 3s. All of u deserve to have ur ears slapped off ur face. This is just average at best. When needs to leave that voicebox to T-Pain.
see this is solid but 4/5 stars people...this is like an auto-tune version of "i luv ur girl" they sound alike. same beat + the dream signing instead tpain would make this much better
This track is cool to chill too but thats about it I don't think I can put it in the whip I'll fall a sleep at the wheel and hit a wall or something. Very chill track not bad.
This is HOT all the way around. I was expecting Dwele to come outta no where cause this sounds like somethin he would've been on. But I like it and agree with the earlier comments that Wayne has been "outta the box but not outta the voice box" for a minute now.
I like this track.... it catchy as hell of course anything t-pain does is stuck n yo head for the next 3 hrs at least lol.... but i definitely would bang this..... and i'm trying to understand his infatuation w/ strippers.... lol
