Last week, T-Pain replaced comedian Katt Williams as the host of the BET Hip-Hop Awards. During the show, Pain performed various comedic stand-up segments, most of which revolved around his uncanny ability to make hit records. While Teddy seemed to use his last minute fill-job as a great promotional tool (Thr33 Ringz drops November 11), he didn’t take the opportunity to air out all the artists who have played copycat with his musical style and the haters who’ve eagerly anticipated his downfall. Why? Well, because his new DJ Khaled-assisted record, Karaoke, takes care of things quite nicely. Aggressive, hostile, and full of bile on this new self-produced track, Pain changes up his flow (see Creep Fast) and looses the Auto-Tune (for the most part). To J Worthy: actually, it's the last song on the album's tracklisting.
Pain killed it over here! This was PURE HEAT-if you're going to pick up the autotune, at least make the surrounding music respectable! (that's what he's saying). I've never heard Khaled cuss so much before on a track-he must be pretty steamed about the trend too! The closing line finished it off; his 4-year old daughter really told them to "get offa Daddy's d!ck"? Seriously, this is pure ENERGY. Thr33 Ringz will be a CLASSIC-make sure you go cop that! |

I never realized how cocky T-Pain was. Then I watched the BET awards. Then I heard this track. LOL, owell, it sounds like he's having fun with it. Even though he can't sing (nobody try and argue this statement please) he still has an incredible talent, and this song is really creative. Not the best from him, but still a good idea to adress the autotune overuse. In rotation.

this is tight but i gotta say "t-pain u brought this on yourself and dj khaled come up with a diff beat" "auto-tune is now global "weather" you like it or not".... with that said .... im gonna give it banga status bc i never seen this side of t-pain .... can he back this up if someone comes back such as kanye or wayne? haha idk but can't wait to see what happens .....

Wow wasn't expecting this. Kinda cool and different from Teddy. But the problems I have with this is that there is is always something preventing an artist from being great, and that is his cockyness. If he would just let is go, then I would respect him a lot more. I hope that this doesn't make the cut. And by the way, if Kahled says the N word one more time...

Wikipedia is a beautiful thing. This is not. He shoulda stuck wit the Autotune for the whole song. 3rd verse wasn't bad though. But hard-soundin T-Pain? Not is strength.

See, this is why he's become one of my FAVORITE artists! He's started proving the haters WRONG and smashing the game. I KNEW HE WAS GON NAME DROP YE and WEEZY...cuz they is the only ones doing it right (well, Wayne sometimes) 5 stars. Khaled still was annoying, but at least he served a partial purpose. A catchy hook would have made this song even better. GO COP "Thr33 Rings" NOVEMBER 11 son!

Considering that it's T-Pain and DJ Khaled (who makes hits and hits) I expected better. I'm feeling the production by T-Pain, it has a good music and a good beat but I don't like them two, I find them extremely annoying! Esp Dj Khaled, I can stand him when he shouts Dj Khaled we da best! at the beginning of songs but I can't bear his yelling in the whole song, I'm sorry...and as I'm not a big fan of T-Pain either, this is only ok to me!

This is actually Pain's fourth single from the album. A video has already been shot and the making of it can be found online. My personal guess is that there are a lot better songs on this album fit for radio other than this one.
