Although T-Pain has been rapping for over 10 years, it was a parody song that gained him serious exposure. After releasing a reworked version of Akon’s Locked Up, T-Pain piqued the interested of the Konvict Muzik record head, and was signed to his label. Akon joins him on the new single Bartender, an ode to drunken men with crushes on their drink mixers. You can find more of T-Pain’s “Sexy Robot” vocals on Epiphany, his second album with Konvict, due for a June release.
