Undaunted by the disappointing sales of his latest album, One Man Band Man, Swizz Beatz is already hard at work on a currently untitled follow-up. Taking out his frustrations on the booth, Swizzy calls out anyone who talks a big game, but doesn’t put their money where their mouth is; he asks, Where The Cash At? While listeners are often quick to critique his verses, even Swizzy knows that his best asset is his production work. Where The Cash At? is no exception, with its majestic sound and bassline borrowed from Cassidy‘s I’m A Hustla (later borrowed by Apex on 50 Cent‘s I Get Money). Although it is currently unknown whether or not Where The Cash At? will be featured on SB’s next album, the song will most certainly be blasting out of speakers all summer long.
I'm a real real big Swizz fan because he's so optimistic I love it!... plus his energy is crazy... I love this joint but the "where the cash at" chorus part is kinda over do'n it... Other wise This is good! (I'm wait'n for a remix)(3.5 star)
I love this Baseline and everyone really rips it when they get their hands on it. Swizz actually does good on here. I like the high energy Chorus. Definitely in ROTATION!
This isn;t bad, Im starting to feel like a lot of Swizz's songs are sounding the same (both with production and lyrical content). He needs to bring a serious club banger to this new album and this is not it
yea i knew it sound like sumthin (i get money) thnx BDF44. its ok i kinda like Swizz but dis song is gud for da club n in rotation. not much play from me tho
Swizz to me should stay a producer his rhymes are not really that good to me he is just anotha chorus rapper but this jawn has a nice hook and a great beat so basically swizz is gonna have anotha hit
There he goes! i adore Swizzie's works... one of the most complete producers ever. 4 stars only for the beat,
and btw he didn't sample anybody but himself.
first time i heard this drum pattern was in cas' "Hustla".
Swizz Beatz, regardless of his rapping ability, always makes songs that are INSANELY HOT in the clubs. I guarantee if you put this on in the middle of a set, all the drunk club patrons wouldn't be thinking "Damn, Swizzy is still rapping? He needs to help." No, they would be saying "Sh*t, this beat is sick. I need another drink..."
u gotta give a lotta props to swizzy...his beats are always insane, and yeah he can't spit too well, but he has a lot of fun with the lyrics and rides the beat real well! this track go hard, can't argue that!
This song is sick! Swizz Beatz's rhymes aint that tight, but the beat hella tight. Get a remix goin and this song could be hella sick! The beat alone makes u wanna party!
Swiss should avoid the booth like it's lined with AIDS!!!! In the words of The Rock,"Know your role jabroni!!!!" Stick to the beats and hooks. Listening to Swiss rap is like going to McDonald's for colagreens, corn bread, and fried chicken....dumb decision!!!! Ha!Ha!
Swizz Beats THE MONSTER!!!This shit is great! Go ahead and hate on his rapping skills but the production is amazing as usual...plus he comes real hard on this...Anthem.
I have been a fan of Swizz's production since the start of DMX'S career but not a big fan of him as a rapper.Have to say he holds this one down pretty well.Like the change up of the get money beat and lyrics was alright too but the hook was a little annoying.
i like the beat ... the beat is awsome ... love the instumental shit in it.... he flows nice in this too.... i think its the beat that rele got me on this one
This is a good club song to get the club poppin off coz the bassline is sick but dang don't we all know "Where the cash at?" In the pockets of the oil companies!!! Tire of cash being the theme of all Hip hop songs boring and redundant. But I'll rock in the player.
noonenose u ryt about da track...sum1 sold da beat to swiss and since it has da same snare as IMA HUSTLER people think he made dat beat... REMEMBER NERO THA MATRIX IS DOIN BEATS FOR SWISS NOW...(WELL MOST OF DEM)
