Unlike some of my fellow Hip-Hop heads out there, I actually find Swizz Beatz’ Monster Mondays an excellent contribution to the game right now. Ok, so it’s not the weekly phenomena that was Good Friday, but what his series lacks in depth it makes up for in good ole’ fashion feel good music. This week’s release, Ass on the Floor, featuring Diddy/Dirty Money falls right in line. Excluding the title itself, lyrically, the track fits perfectly with the continuing Dirty Money theme of exploring heartbreak, with Kalenna singing, “You’re the love of my life/ But you hurt my heart twice/ Now I’m drunker than a mother**ker…” Meanwhile, Diddy, whose appearance somewhat throws off the mood, smokes his pain away while listening to Sade (haven’t we all). On the beat Swizzy encourages you hit the dance floor and forget about the haters over his rapid fire drums smothered in dreamy synths, forming the kind of beat that will make you forget about your wack love life for at least four minutes. And that alone may be a blessing in disguise for some of us.

Im really this team up of Swizz Beatz and Dirty Money. They both are very good artists. They came to work with intentions of making a great record. And thats exactly what they did. The production from Swizz Beatz is great like always. And Dirty Money did great on their verses. A overall good record. A banger for me.

This is pretty catchy right here. The Production by Swizz is Excellent. Swizz kills it on the chorus. I'm feelin the whole vibe of the song. This is a BANGER! I would bump this in the car and on the computer and in the club...Diddy was aight too.

The production is the stand out element here and, for that reason alone, I am going to give the record a 3. I could go on and on about Diddy's vocal contribution, but why bother?

I can't front, I expected this to be a disaster. But I can't front - I kind of like it. That Swizz beat (beatz) is catchy without becoming aggravating, and the talented portion of Dirty Money/Diddy Money deliver some stellar vocals. As for Diddy himself, he obviously doesn't add much, but it's a speed bump in an otherwise flying track.

The best Dirty Money songs yet since "Hello Goodmorning". If they continue trying to follow this blueprint they'll be living at the top of the charts. And sticking with Swizz Beatz would definitely be a very good idea.
