It seems like only yesterday that Swizz Beatz was getting Fancy with Drake and Mary J. Blige. Always a mover and a shaker, he’s elevated to Haute Living status and has titled his upcoming project accordingly. Veteran femcee and fellow Ruff Ryders alum Eve joins him on the first single from the project, Everyday (Coolin’), and she reminds us why she was known as “a pitbull in a skirt” back in the Ruff Ryders’ heyday with a growling, aggressive delivery. Swizzy trades his signature horns for a sound that can only be described as a bumblebee on speed to shape the melodic elements of the song, while galloping drums drive the tempo to club banger status. Those of you who prefer less Swizz Beatz rapping/talking on a track probably aren’t going to get into this, in spite of the solid production. Stephanie, I would never accost you (on Twitter or otherwise). I think your write-up is spot on. If people like this song it will most likely be because of the production and Eve's contribution. DJs should have no excuse not to at least consider throwing this into quick mixes.

The only that that is more frustrating than the high pitched horns are the hook. Swizzy rhymes coolin' with coolin' like 6 times, and does the same for chillin'. Eve managed to salavage what she could from this track, but other than her verse, this song is forgettable at best.

if that ''bumblebee on speed'' was replaced by something else or at least alienated per say, this song would be MUCH better...its sortof sad to hear....gosh smh

It's become so predictable to knock Swizzy tracks, but I just don't enjoy this in any shape or form. Eve's just fine, but that beat sounds like a fire alarm and lord knows Beatz' lyrics aren't making up for it.

I really dont like to hear Swizz rap and hopefully he gets better if he chooses to continue. I like the production of the track especially cause I have a thing for high pitch effects. Eve has always been one of my top female Mc's and she did here verse justice.
