For some reason, British rappers have always had a hard time catching on in the US. Sure, The Streets and Dizzee Rascal have made their splashes here and there, but they are still leagues away from being household names on this side of the Atlantic.  Sway, one of the UK’s four or five rap heavyweights, is taking his crack at the States seriously. He has recently signed on to Akon’s Konvict Muzik label in hopes that his new boss can make him more marketable over here. His promo single, Saturday Night Hustle, is sure to get a spin or two at American clubs. The track features a hook by fellow Brit Lamar and production by Shux. No official announcements have been made regarding an album.

I like the sample. i'm surprised someone hasen't used this song in describing their hustle. Sway is killin um. I see The UK is startin to make some real noise, I'm startin to dig it. This knocks!

addicting, i've been interested in sway since i heard him on a lupe joint, but idk how well this will do in america. i hope its just the crappy speakers makin it sound lesser, but the production may not be mainstream enough to succeed here , sad as it is to say. nonetheless i really dig this song.

This sample is hot and Lamar serves the hook very well. I've liked Sway's flow every since I heard "We Love You" where he was featured with Lupe Fiasco. You guys should definitely go and check that track out. Aw shucks Shux! Beat is hot.

The beat is energic, I like the way he flows and the way the girl sings, but I don't like it when they repeat the days of the week...they sound too agitated! I guess it's in rotation, although I'm not mad for it

Ha, nice to see British talent getting a look in at last. It's Lemar by the way. Never been crazy on Sway but a thorough job on this track. Those unfamiliar with British talent should check out Kano, his new album, 140 Grime Street, is truly immense.
