Introduced to Booth readers via last September’s Born Hip Hop, Sum-in-1 returns to Elevate our mindstate with the lead single off his forthcoming full-length. Kev Da Khemist produces, hooking up with guitarist Sterling to craft a hazy, Caribbean-accented backdrop for the headliner’s rhymes, as well as guest bars by dancehall mainstay Papa Michigan. Jeanine Strong ties the record together with some smooth hook vocals. Digging it? There’s plenty more where this came from on Summer Vengeance, coming (as you may have surmised) this summer.
