After flipping a series of popular tracks like Kavinsky’s Nightcall and Wale’s That Way, freestyle series alumnus STS has done it again with his latest release, Cut Me Off. Off of his forthcoming project, GOLDRush, Cut Me Off flips Gotye’s hit song Somebody That I Used To Know with some assistance from producer, Bear-One. Meanwhile on the mic, STS shows off his solid lyricism and talks about his troubles and tribulations with a crazy girl who has now become somebody he used to know. This is pretty-damn-creative. I like the beat by Bear-One and the chorus is cool in a late 80's type of way. I also liked the flows of STS. I can dig it. This is that different type of swag right here. Good work.

I like it, It's creative. I kept waiting for him to speed up his flow and drop a more aggressive verse (it got better towards the end of the first verse).
I think it needed some contrast with a second rapper with a different flow, or maybe 3 different style rappers telling stories of a crazy girl they had a relationship experiences with. Not bad though, overall. 3.5 stars |

STS doesn't dissapoint but I'm SICK of rappers doing this beat, I've heard too many spin it heir way, over it but if this was my first listen after the original then yeah I'd be hooked, love me some Sugar Tongue Slim, GOLD!
