After three singles (Jump Off, Nasty Girl, All I Need), a guest appearance on Jay-Z‘s Dig A Hole, and numerous delays, Sterling Simms is finally ready to release his debut album; Yours, Mine and the Truth, drops tomorrow, December 23. As a member of R&B songwriting/production team the Knightwritaz the Philadelphia native has had the opportunity to connect with some of biggest names in the music industry, and one of these stars is Milwaukee/Atlanta producer Soundz (see Usher‘s Love in this Club (Pt. 2), Scalez’ Put It Down) who once again serves up a low synth-laced beat as Sterling gives a shout-out to all the ladies who are Doin’ Dat There. Though this cut should be the perfect single, it doesn’t quite seem to reach its full potential. Nonetheless, Sterling Simms is finally ready to cast his line into the vast sea of album releases – from here on out, it’s all up to the fans.

I've been waitin for him to put out a new track...I luv this guy!!...His voice is amazingly SEXc. I also really like this beat- simple and sweet. This is nice for all of us ladies;)

The synth beat is perfect and I love the different melodies in the background. His voice is smooth and nice! I still think its missing something though

Since Sterling's project was basically thrown into the 'afterthought' pile by Def Jam(dropping this Tuesday, 12/23) - he needs all the exposure and support he can get!
The man has crazy with the pen and the vocals, support his new project! Shouts to Soundz - a Midwest representa.

I don't remember hearing anything previously from this guy, but this is a decent joint. I wouldn't mind hearing it on the radio.

The track is solid. A real radio friendly song. Not bad that soft synth in the hook really brings up the tracks energy, without it the track would have no energy. Above average.

A great r&b track...the production is really good, smooth and catchy. His voice is hot! The overall song is kinda sexy and at least it isn't a bore like many other rnb songs

I typically like Sterling Sims' music. His vocals are always on point and production is never lacking. However, this track is very simple-sounding and could potentially get lost in all the other music getting played out there right now.
I'll throw it in rotation to support the music, but I know he can hit it harder than this |

When i first started listening to this song I was thinking it was just ok... but thats whats good about this song the first minute leads into something spectacular. This song is really smooth.
