Dual-threat rapper/producer Sterlen Roberts has drawn some comparisons to Kanye West.  There is, however, a crucial difference between the two: Sterlen Roberts does not believe in prenups. In fact, the Bay Area artist is probably one of the least stingy people you will ever come across, especially when it comes to treating his woman right. In his new single, Only Money, he hypothesizes that money can buy you love. Instead of rocking his own production, he chooses to outsource and uses a laid-back beat by Allstar. Check out more Sterlen on his upcoming album, Eulogy of Sterlen Roberts. Eulogy? Uh-oh, Sterlen, - maybe you should have gone with the prenup

I like the feel of the beat. But again if I had a lot of money I wouldent get a girl anything. I would tell her get off your lazy ass and get a job. But I like this.

Ha! This is no Kanye West. Don't ever compare this guy to him again! LOL. But AllStar's smooth soulful production and the hook makes this track real nice. Kanye West rapping on this would've made this joint better. Sterlen Roberts doesn't suck, but he's nothing special.

Kanye comparison: no way. They are both rappers and producers and that is it. But SR has potential, let's see if he can maitain the longevity of dual roles.

The music is very smooth, the beat is ok. I guess it's right to create also slow hip hop songs, but I'm not so into them...this is well produced and he has a good voice, if I found it on the radio I would listen to it, but I wouldn't put it in my mp3 player. After a bit I would get bored and I would have to go forward! I'm tired of money subjects, but unfortunately they reflect our world! In rotation

When I said he has drawn some comparisons to Kanye, I was not implying that I was comparing him to Kanye. Some critics have made the comparison.

they are comparing him to kanye because he was a producer and is moving on his career, also his style is similar, clean cut, not really gangsta

KANYE WEST???????? LOL!!! That was the best joke I've heard today. This is the only beat I've heard from him so I don't know. Definitely not on Kanyes level.

Song is nice tho.

To everyone who thinks that Charlie is comparing Sterling to Kanye West... please take a GIANT step back. The only comparison that Charlie is making is that both artists are serious about work behind the boards and in the Booth. Don't get it twisted... With that said, this is a solid record.

The best song in the booth today? I'd give this a 3.5ish-4/5. Beat is nice, cool hook, and solid verses.
