Rapper/producer Sterlen Roberts is leaving the underground to release his self-titled album The Eulogy of Sterlen Roberts. Following his regional hit An Lean, his new single, She Works, is ready to rock the club. On the song, Roberts continues to show his skills with the mic, while singer Luke (of Luke & Q) gets his “voice box” on. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is about working a 9 to 5βit’s about a girl working her body in the club. The Allstar-produced track is definitely something the ladies can work to. There is no release date for the album, but it should be hitting stores soon.
I am not familiar with S. Roberts work, but this is a solid production. I can put this into spin. Luke?: He does a good job on the hook (voice box or no voice box). I wonder who's going to be the first to comment on the voice box. Patty85 or donjon? lol
A voice box? Is this new. Same sh*t every song, and it just pisses me off more every time. By the way this song is really bad. Beat is ok. It will prolly go in most rotations because all that matters now is beats and production.
Solid production and overall very good for an up-in-coming artist. TheGreatest: Just curious; what kind of music would you like us to post that would get a higher mark than '1' spin?
again with the voicebox...every week it at least one song with the voicebox, im going to make me a song with the voice box j/p but i am tired of it song every week i will continue to comment on this horrible fad..........decent lyric and beat but the voicebox distracts me (message to all singers especially up and comin dont attempt to use the voicebox, i know how it sound i want to hear how you sound) peace
I'm with theGreatest and boss dogg, too many songs with the voicebox...it's known I HATE it, but I think this is too much also for people who like it! I wanna hear REAL voices!! Apart from this, the song isn't that original...the beat is good, but for me is OK, I really don't stand these fake voices.
Well damn I actually the voicebox. But I also like music that gets the club bouncin too so that's really goin hand in hand. I could jus see some ass workin in the club to this on the real. Good production here. Hey Z keep it comin bruh
TheGreatest: I can appreciate that you are a fan of lyrical genious... I agree with you on that. However, when Flo Rida and Will went in to the studio to craft this song, they were not thinking "Let's get lyrical on 'em." This was meant to be what it is... a club banger/ladies to the dancefloor/get drunk and request my sh*t type of song.
Not bad. It's interesting I gotta give him creativity on this one. It's different. Pretty good. I mean the voice box has become to common lately but this is not bad.
