Philadelphia’s favorite rap group, State Property, is back together and they’ve brought the heat that has been missing from the game since ‘99.  Leaving behind industry drama (since Jay and Dame split, there’s been plenty), the SP Chain Gang is Live In Effect, and unlike most “reunion tracks,” all seven members (Peedi Crakk, Neef Buck, Young Chris, Omillio Sparks, Oschino, Beanie Sigel, and Freeway) have returned for this newest go-round.  Earlier in the week, Ludacris rhymed that he wanted more groups to reconcile their differences and get back together; hopefully Live In Effect will start a reunion chain reaction.

The production is definitely solid! I like the flow and delivery as well. This isn't bad as all. It sounds good to my ear. Classic style. I would love to hear some Roc-a-fella cats hop on a remix to this, like Jay and Kanye. This is absolutely hot.

They are all decent artists normally; but on this beat, I just didn't hear anything really good. It's a decent first effort at getting back together; but its gotta be better than this track to work out!

Well it sounds like a mixtape track. Like they just one-by-one hopped on the beat. That worked back in Wu-Tang days but today I don't see it catching anybody's attention unless they were ALREADY fans of SP. Me personally, I love State Prop so I'm feelin this. However I can see why it'd score low. It doesn't sound so much of a song, more of a mashup

Give them some time people...Beat is sick, and its about time some old school sound came back into hiphop! I like it, and I'll be waiting for more

I like it. That open hat in the back is keepin the energy up for me. The only thing though is that it sounds like it was made around the time DMX made "It's Dark and Hell is Hot" Woulda been GREAT 10 years ago. I'm a SP fan though so I'ma still give it a 4

A real short track for 7 people to be on this but I think it was a good start to a comeback.

the beat gets a banger...its solid rap back to back with no hook...it kinda does drop in the middle but ends strong

If i wasn't ALREADY a fan of SP, i probably wouldn't migrate to em after this. beat coulda been sick if they would've ripped it. it sounded more like they fell into it instead of taking command of it.
