Stat Quo - Success (Back to U)

Spring is right around the corner (finally!), and with the winter thaw comes a new growth of talented artists that had been somewhat buried in 2010. Leading the pack is ATLien Stat Quo with Success (Back to U), the new single off his long-delayed debut album, Statlanta. The former Shady/Interscope artist shows his love for the grind on the track, threading his bars through upbeat production (courtesy of Phonix) that’s topped off with an incredibly soulful hook. Although we have to wait until the entire album is released to determine its real viability, Stat already knows his relationship with the game, and is comfortable sharing it with the rest of us: “I mean us, it’s no rush/ me and success, the only b**** that I trust.” Hey, who doesn’t love success?
