Thanks to his departure from a rather Shady label situation, Stat Quo has already begun to reap the benefits of the Aftermath. Featured inside the Booth just seven times from January of ‘06 through July of ‘08, the Atlanta emcee never had the opportunity to truly work a record to the public. Since ripping up his major label contract and taking with him a gigantic catalog of music, however, he has been able to earn five new Booth features in roughly three months. Adding another to this rapidly-growing tally, Stat has created the emotional Washed Away, which describes the way our world is seemingly drowning in its own tears. Set for inclusion on his Thanksgiving-day mixtape release, The Bailout, Washed Away showcases a matured emcee who has always had plenty to say, but who, until recently, didn’t have the freedom to say it.

I would have preferred a high quality mix on that beat to really get into that song. It just seems muffled and not clean/crispy. Stat Quo snapped hard on this! This is one of the best joints I've heard from him. I wonder if they is a higher CDQ version of this somewhere. I don't know if you guys have heard of Soul P. (Full name is Soul Plasma, and he's down some stuff with Ohmega Watts)...but Stat Quo sounds a lot like him, from a song called "Hey Young Man". Hit me up if anyone wants me to send it to them. But this is definitely a solid joint from Stat that really shows his versatility.

Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit lets all the RAW talent get away Game, Stat, Busta, the list goes on but they should all make a compilation mixtape and call it @ftermath (just to get past possible suit for Copyright infringement) I remember when Stat Quo was supposed to be the secret weapon to counter all the Game vs. G-unit freestyles but he could've been their secret weapon for so much more if they just let yo boi speak hiz mind. Something is missing prod.-wise and I'm not even sure it is the quality (but I've felt that way about most of Stats latest records).

i think its safe to say that Stat's been killin it lyrically and content wise...i do agree with MH about the quality mix, i'm not a fan of the muffled quality...AFtermath needs to get their ish together and stop letting ur talent get away, dont take 9 yrs to put out an album...i know dre is a perfectionist but damn bro, people gotta eat...

Best hook I've heard in a few. Stat has been impressing me alot lately. I'm diggin this without question. The Quality does sound less than quality, I wonder if they'll remaster it. He is really killin this beat with his story telling!

Good track and a good message. Definitely will be in my rotation especially when I'm in deep thought.
