With the arrival of summer, a lot of the new music that’s been released lately has featured trunk banging beats paired with hot fiery punch lines to go with the scorching weather. So wouldn’t it be nice to hear a smooth, refreshing song that comes in like a cool breeze? Well, Stanza, with the help of legendary beatsmith 9th Wonder, hopes to provide exactly that refreshing feeling during this hot, chaotic summer with new leak Love & Appreciation. The production, of course, comes from 9th Wonder, and samples Ben. E King’s Let Me Live In Your Life, providing a smooth, soulful head-bobbin flow that goes great with the song’s romantic theme. (Some may recognize the beat off of Murs’ album Murray’s Revenge). For his part, Stanza knows that the warmer months mean new love, and new opportunities to slick talk and spit game to some lovely hunnies. This one will go straight into my headphone mix playlist. Feel good music is hard to come by these days - not everyone enjoys unrealistic boasting and reality rap - so I'll hold onto it for a little while.
9th Wonder is amazing and Stanza tells a great story.

I've loved 9th's beats ever since hearing Jay-Z's Threat. Then hearing Little Brother's music, he's become one of my favorite producers. Stanza's rhymes are cool and I like how he told a story about a lover, 9th came with music that goes great with it too.

ughh.. gotta love stanza, been a fan for a while since i heard "get down", this is cool and laid bac like that track and im really feelin it, the production was nice and stanza was great like always

i know that stanza wasnt trying to impose himself on this beat i felt that he didnt which i wouldve liked. i wouldnt say that this track is boring but it doesnt draw me in as much as it did other booth members

I don't think I even need to mention the 9th production, the man only makes quality music. As for Stanza, true to his name the man's got a gift for words. Love the storytelling vibe on this one, and his delivery works perfectly with the smoothed out vibe. Could have gone without the "dyke" line, but it's not nearly enough to damper the mood. Dope.

When we first featured him, I noted how he sounded like (the guy in HoamBoy's profile pic)...But you can't deny he has the talent to make it, and he (as well as Donnis) prove the world that ATL isn't just a radio or street-fiend city...
