It has been several months since New York City rhymeslinger Spoken Phor made his DJBooth debut with the highly-praised Echoes, but the emcee has finally returned to our pages for the world premiere of his latest single, Cashmere Promises. No pun intended, but Cashmere Promises seems to echo the invitingly laid-back tone of the DJBooth newcomer’s past feature thanks to a combination of Mirror Maru‘s piano-driven production and Phor’s suave lyricism. On the record Spoken Phor enlists the help of fellow Big Apple spitter Euro League, who appropriately matches the melodious vibe of Cashmere Promises.
