Spliff Star, of the Flipmode Squad, comes with a synth ripping, bottom dropping, club banger This Is How I Do off his new solo album, About Time. Instrumentally the song is ambitious, however as rich as the sound is, the song as a whole is anything but that. With a stutteristic flow combined with a “call and response” type hook, one might find that although infectious within the first minute of play, the repetitiveness and lyrical content find this single to be very common place amongst its competition.
