Recently, Brother, Help Me emcee SparkDawg suffered a major setback when a grease fire that started while he was cooking catfish got out of control and burned his home to the ground.  Fortunately, no one was hurt and the nearby studio was not damaged.  On unreleased track Where There’s A SPARK There’s A FLAME, the rapper describes his feelings surrounding the experience. Over Cy Fyre‘s piano loop, Spark explains that, though he’s still a little shaken up, he recognizes that he’s truly blessed to have his life and his recording equipment intact, and he’s more committed than ever to using both to their fullest.  It’s clear that the traumatic experience has only left SparkDawg stronger; if the rapper continues turning out reflective jams like this one, he could well achieve “Booth favorite” status.

It takes A LOT to pour your heart out onto a track and deliver it in a way that begs the listener not to feel sorry for you. But, rather, to feel inspired by your story and motivated to bigger and better things yourself. This falls into that second category.

Real nice. I'm a sucker for anything with a piano... And SparkDawg really showed his talent on here. I really love it when rappers truly pour out their soul on a track. 4.5

* Taking a deep breath* Hey, this is much better. I was hard on SparkDawg last time, cause the name and the content was not clicking with me. This is much better though. Much Much better! that1kid13, I think we all agree that sparkdawg has a wayz to go b4 being up there with K.sparks, but with a ton of more bangers like this, he will gather is own level of respect with the booth. GOOD @*#$!!

Agree with @BDF44 way too much better! than his past offerings on booth ... Makin music from his experiences and the beat produced by Cy Fyre fits well with the song’s topic as Spark drops some nice lyrics ... giving the whole incident an odd air of intrigue.
