In the musical world, following your heart and being true to yourself are typically seen as positive things. On mixtape leak Don’t Listen to My Heart, however, Riverside Cali duo Sound Fx reverse the the trend, spitting about situations in which one’s emotions can lead one into trouble and heartbreak. Over group member Maddy Mcfly‘s own sampled production, he and fellow emcee Dupree are joined by hook singer Ayan Sanyal. This bleak, but cathartic cut is just one of many bangers set for inclusion on the crew’s Still Dreaming re-release, set to drop August 31.

WHAT?? I like the beat but once that dropped off it just left me confused. the flow was off. I'm sure kid has some other tracks that are dope the whole way thru tho
