Over a Natural Disaster and Antonio Top Cat-produced track, Soulja echoes the ATL’s Shawty Lo and practices his stretched-out syllables and relaxed delivery. Ultimately, the song finds the teen phenom reveling in his continued success. He’s got his stunna shades on and is getting money from the time he ‘hops up out the bed,’ but does he have staying power? And will Soulja’s new swag have a lasting effect, despite heavy criticism from the media and old-school heads alike? iSouljaBoyTellEm, the answer to both questions, hits stores on December 16.

Wow that is all i can say anymore. One day, maybe one he will have another hit, but this song just dragged on and the flow seemed really off. All i can give is a 2.

this song is okay. as background music in movie or something but to listen to on its own, its a "No". It reminds me of whatever you like by t.i. Its Ok. Better than Birdwalk by far.

I saw the video for this earlier this past weekend and I really dug it. No lie. For Soulja Boy, this was a real upgrade and actually something different. It's far better than "Birdwalk" and it certainly shows he's evolving . I think he should have spit some real verses though, and let the sing-song style for the hook and bridges. This to me was a solid joint for S.B, at least worthy of rotation. I feel most of the hatred on it will be from people who are basing their opinion on the fact that it is Soulja Boy, more than the facts about the actual, specific song. That's too bad. That just means no matter how much someone improves (and I'm not saying S.B IMPROVED a whole lot), but no matter how much, people will still think in the past.

In my opinion, if this had of been another new rapper or a BRAND NEW RAPPER PERIOD, y'all would have least given a three...and this opinion is coming from ME (MICHAEL HANNAH). That's gotta be worth something...and then some.

U know why so much people hate you, Cuz you got no lyricism and he phrased it right stretched out-syllables. Beat is nothing special and sounds like everything out there. Seems like there is more chorus then actual verses. Better than bird walk but rather listen to Yamaha Mama ft. Sean Kingston if I had to listen to ne of his songs out there now.

It might be an "upgrade" to some of you, but that isn't saying much. dude is whack. Always has been. I remember seeing an article last year, be fore he hit it "big", saying that he was one of the new artists to look out for. I bet they wish they had put more thought into that. He got lucky with Crank That. He has no real talent. He's an entertainer, not an artist.

I like his other tracks better than this one. But I guess this is still OK, I just think his other songs are better. I have never been or will ever be a S.B. Hater, I like what he does and he is making that Money! This is just a little too slow and drawn out for my taste. We'll see how I like it in 2 weeks!

I agree with what michaelhannah and Dj Blaze had to say, even tho, honestly the attempts of singing on the track was a terrible idea, but still enjoyed the beat and the hook. I think overall it was a decent track, but could of been better.

I agree with Michael Hannah on this one. Its something new from SB. I think its not a great song but its something diffrent, very Shawty Low indeed. Production could have been smoother, maybe somebody singing along with in in those long notes haha.

i have to disagree with DJBLAZE and MICHAELHANNAH on this one..i use to bump soulja way before the deal..but when his album came out most of it was old material..im not hatin on it just because its soulja boy this song is just really wack..i liked him when he was underground..but all his commercial singles are really wack in my opinion. but thats my opinion so ima stand by that.

I love this song! Its so catchy and i dont believe that soulja boy is a hip hop artist, he is a Pop artist, with a hip hop twist. I used to be a hater of soulja boy but i love this song.

Shawty Lo ain't good, if hes looking for someone to try being, atleast be someone that is Hip-hop (Nas, Q-Tip, etc). This is okay, kinda catchy. Stretchy sylables were annoying.
