We know what you’re thinking, but we can’t resist the chance at some awesome feedback! Almost platinum-certified, teenage mega-sensation Soulja Boy is back with the first single off his forthcoming sophomore release. Obviously well advised (unlike many rappers), Soulja Boy is hopping on the “iTrain” in hopes that it means endorsement dollars down the line from Apple. On iDance, SB gives his classic Soulja Boy song/dance a minor production tweak, essentially leaving the original concept unchanged. Then it’s pretty much: exit “superman”, enter “idance”. Currently on tour across the country, the Atlanta-based Soulja Boy will release iSoulja Boy later this year.
I AM SOULJA BOY'S SOULJA GIRL!!! I LUV EVERYTHING HE DO! U GO BABY....i dont care if yall hate me 4 luv-n him!! yeeeeeeeeaaaaaa i luv u and DIS song! WOW!! IS ALL I CAN SAY!
I gotta give Soulja Boy respect where respect is due; and he has definitely earned it for the 2007-2008 album drop! I am happy to see he is adhering to his style. This beat is pretty sick and this is going to be bumping everywhere! He definitely isn't a one hit wonder! Good Job here from Soulja Boy...This is a Rotation joint!
havent even listened to it, not gonna listen to it, just gonna give it a one because soulja boy has ruined hip hop, and now people think soulja boy is hip hop and im happy even LeBron said something about it haha
hey WOW, it is all coming together now. You just don't know hip-hop. You like 2 of the worst in the game right now. Dis fool and Shawty Lo. Damn girl you really messed up. Listen to this. Nasty! Weak! Stupid! Embarrassment! I hate to say that this dud is on the same radio stations that Big, Nas, and Pac used to own.
AYE DIZ WUZ HAPPENIN DIS SHYT FINNA BE BUMPIN EVRYWHERE SOULJA BOY ACTUALLY WENT OFF ON DIS I JUZ EXPECT IT 2 BE DA SAME OLD SAME OLD BUT DIS KINDA SOUND DIFFRENT I LIKE IT SO UMMM YAH
k so now im "messed up" TheGreatest!?? k some advice 4 u: dont be talking smack about me like u are here and how u were on t.i.'s last track...U DONT KNOW ME!...let me like wut i like and i'll let u like wut u like! JEEZ!
I like DIS and maybe i'll grow outta it (probably not!), but u dont have to b rude is all i'm saying. BEING RUDE DOES NOT HANDLE ANYTHING being polite woud make me change if anything....BUT I AINT...I LUV SOULJA BOY:)!
Why do you torture us Soulja Boy? Hip hop has been good to You! Y do you continue to contribute to its demise with your music? Stop! Please! I beg you!
I could care less about people talking about Soulja Boy killing hip hop. That's old now. It's way more sucky rappers out than him. He's telling you right on the track "iDance". He makes dance tracks, so let him make him. Some people like them. The same way I wouldn't want a industry full of Soulja Boys, I wouldn't want an industry full of Nas' or Jays either. That means everyone would be the same. Hip hop/rap/urban music gots to have some kind of contrast. Plus, without these rappers, what would East Coast rappers have to rap about...lol (inside joke)
i hate souja boy and i hate dis song like all other. Djblaze your right he not a one hit wonder, he has no hits.........the greatest, we are all a victims of the death of hip hop and it hurts so badly to see it dying and not be able to do anything about it
The beat is pretty sick...but everything else I just can't bare to listen to...if this is wut rap is coming too then I might just have to switch to country or sumthin..not really..but Soulja Boy is not a rapper by any means
you know what.. he's alright for his own style i supposed.. it ain't me but the people i talk to that do the whole hyphy scene and turfin and stuff like his stuff to dance to..
^^^^boss dogg^^^^
...i gotta disagree witchu on tha hip hop dyin...hip hop is alive and well...some niggas jus dont kno wut they doin...check tha underground scene where i thrive...hip hop is down there doin push ups on tha other genres of music which are gettin tired...but this song is.......lame as fuck...>scuse me
i dont want to comment how will the dance be for this will it be the same one without the yooooo i dont know gotta respect the kid is making money though hope to never listen to this again but i will and one day i will be like and then i youtube
i like few things to say about hip-hop is dead and soul-ja boy, first you people need to look up the meaning of hip-hop....like the first play hip-hop song started with sugar hill gang, remember that no you don't and i'm just 19.... you do not compare soulja to jay-z,2pac, or lil wayne what the hell wrong with you people, you must live under a rock and worship them or some. He makes dance music not lycial rap!
im not a hater, but please don't say "this is tight" cause soulja boy doesn't have much more talent than anyone on the street, he is in is own genre where u don't require much talent at all, and i can't emphasise how sick i am of these rainbow rappers, but hey some ppl luv this style, ppl who have learnt to block their ears to his crappy lyrics, and just listen to the pretty good dance beats
I really don't like to knock anyone's hustle, but goodness gracious. How long is this crap going to go on? This is garbage and I don't care that a bunch of youngins who don't know what music really is like it. This is terrible! Yeah the beat is cool but he destroys it (not in a good way) with all his damn i's. Its time for him to invest in something else seriously. I can't believe this will actually get radio play. Main reason why i don't listen to the radio!
hey to answer JCarter,^^^its cuz they let him, n people jus like songs dat u can do a dance to nowadays. i personally hate it. I jus dont like "how to" videos or music for dat matter. dis is straight garbage n will get a dam star. but i got a question didnt soulja boi say he was betta then Kanye and sumone else?
Tha #1 SOULJA GIRL Sixela been holdin' him down since youtube and bebo all way in tha LOU! Y@ DI99, but thats my future hubbie cause ya girl finna make her way in the game cause I'm tryina get in the studio and record my 1st song to hit stl radio stations so if you in the Lou stay tuned to 100.3 the beat and 104.1 expecially, but all my djbooth fam. wen itz done imma put it on here for your feedback.
The beat is fricken awesome, and I can't even hear what bass he's put into it yet. lyrically, totally absent, but then I'm not surprised. wouldn't be half as much of a problem if Soulja Boy didn't call himself the "hottest MC"... he's comparing himself to the lyricists. Regardless of what he says, he's no lyricist but does good for what he's aiming for, which is airplay. I'll play it some.
not really likin it dat much....i liked soulja boy betta before he went mainstream...yea yea yea yall dnt like him wateva he still gon b makin money n invadin ur tv n radio stations for jus a lil while longer...hip hop is not dead...i jus wouldnt put soulja boy n a hip hop category....most of da time i wouldn't b on WOW's side (cuz she's super young n u can tell) but ima b on it today, leave her alone....let her like wat she likes. as she matures n ages she will go bac n realize she dat wat she used to like n listen to is not REAL MUSIC. like when i was n middle school i used to be on b2k real hard, now i go bac n b like wat da fuck?!?! lol but it was still good times.....i may have to listen to dis song sum more before i like it.
like DVEEZY i havent heard this track yet and dont expect much from it. but like michealhannah said, soulja boy makes dance songz, thats just what he's about, if he dont try ne other approaches i don think his career will get very far but its still what hes about so i give him respect for stickin to it. now i gotta hear this shit
i lean i rock i jig i Yuu! lol. aight niggie. props to him. nice beat. same flo, but still pretty nice. i like how he put the crank dat beat in a the beginning and its good that he acknowledges the rumors bout him bein a one hit wonder. IN ROTATION. YYUUUuuuuuu
Yo Boss-Dog, You need to watch yourself there bro! Go to the contact us Page and you will see who I am...I am tired of you All on My BALLS when I write comments. Comment about the songs and not about people. Same goes for everyone else. Personal attacks will not be tolerated here at the DJbooth! He has HITS already and a platinum selling status; so how is that not a HIT? If you don't like the track, just say so; and post a rating and move on! PERIOD!....oh yeah and come back to da booth!
This shit is garbage! This is just a mix of beats (mostly his beats) put together with me repeating "I dance". How can you people give this song a 5 star?! What happened to real hip-hop?
I needed a laugh this morning so I decided this track would fit the bill. Sure did. Lmao. All I can picture when I hear this are teeny bobs & adolecents running amuck & going buck, doing the dances & what not. Buy hey, cant blame em...its their thing.
Soulja Boy said it best when he said he made millions off of doing something he has fun win with. Is Hip-Hop supposed to be one dimensional?. Why aren't people blasting more of Mos Def and KRS-One albums. Lil dude is just having fun.

I like it..........it made me dance......the song serves its purpose so jus let it do what it do, we need someone out there makin good tracks to dance to not just kill, shoot, nigga, murder, hate, kill the cops type stuff, give the young kids somethin to dance to!
The reason hip hop is "dead" is because of the consumers... you guys would rather download a cd that go purchase it... ( and i know this doesn't apply to err body but it does for a lot of so called fans) For instance take Chamillionaires Ultimate Victory album.... that has been the best album I have heard in a long time.... it was REAL hiphop but people chose to download it rather than purchase his album... So because it didn't sell over 400,000 copies his label chose to not promote it anymore or put out any new singles... (he explains this on you tube) the reason why artists like Soulja Boy are succesful is because the younger generation have their parents buy them cds or use their parents credit cards to BUY music on iTunes instead of download it and bootleg it... So I respect his hustle for knowing how to get to the right audience.. he knows grown men ain't gon buy his album so he doesn't direct his music at us... STOP HATIN... buy cds and support your favorite artists so the game can get back to what it used to be!
So... I'm not really a "fan" persay but if anything you have to respect his hustle. He got that demographic on lock. And another thing I'm a huge fan of any artist talking about something but I can't totally knock Soulja Boy for being himself. He doesn't credit himself as a rapper but an artist; an artist that makes good music. And not for you, for whoever wants to listen and those listeners that he has BUY his music. Look at some of the hottest rappers Mos Def, Talib, and even Common being outsold by who esle.. Soulja Boy.. because he caters to his demographic, so game recognize game on this one. Kudos soulja boy, kudos
Yall haterz suck he makes little kids dance
yall should be proud of seeing kids with a smile
yeah hip-hop is dead but snap is alive
so to all theses haters on here YAHHH!

1977-1997 is the real death of hip-hop since you want to put hip-hop under one section, man real music our elders don't care for any of this, they think hip-hop is resonsible negative influence on young people that we see on the news, why we can't stop saying the n-word, look at women as sex objects...hip-hop came from long way...hell hip-hop started on dance songs and hatin on some kid damn you guys should be a shame of yourselves!
This joint is just another example of how anybody can get into hip-hop. Now disrespect to soulja boy because he is doing his thing but i dont see what so special about a overly repetetive song. Not to mention the fact that he only drops one bar throughout the entire song "I dance stomp loud like thunder but guess who's not a one hit wonder" overal... im not impressed.
I THINK THIS SONG IS HOT SOULJA BOY DOIN HIS THANG I AINT HATIN BUT EVER SONG HE MAKE IS A CLUB BANGER AND EVERY BODY LOVE AND HE MAKING MILLIONS HE DOIN IT BIG GO HEAD DO U BOU
I agree. Why R U guyz hatin on Soulja Boy?!! Dis is what he does! He is da leader of da snap revolution! And Soulja Boy is a more versitle artist than most people think.
I like it.................... the beat is hot..........the lyrics may not all be there but it make me bounce and bob and if i do that then u best believe that im spinnin it..... im gone spin it tonite and see wat it do but as far as the rating goes..................................................
donjonjon, yes I do agree that the high priced cds in the 1990's has damaged the industry... but people were still buying them back then... New releases now are like $9.99 for the 1st 2 weeks they are out and artists still struggle to sell 200,000 copies in the first 2 weeks... and that is how record labels judge the success of an album is the first 2 weeks sales.... if it don't sell good they won't invest money in new singles or videos so american consumers really don't get exposed to an artists material.... this makes artists resort to self promotion through mixtapes and myspace pages... I have the upmost respect for what Slim Thug recently did by sayin F my record label and going back to being independent... he paid back what he owed them on his contract... now he can put out the kind of album he wants to put out and have it drop on a release date of his choice and not keep gettin pushed back by corporate hip hop....
I LIKE THIS CUZ IF U REALLY UNDERSTAND IT HE IS TELL U HOW A DANCE BECOMES A DANCE
U PUT THA DANCE 2GETHER FROM A MIX OF OTHER LIL DANCE AND THEN AFTER U GET IT U UTUBE IT
I LOVE THA BEAT AZ ALWAYZ
I don’t care if Soulja Boy is makin money. Good for him! I hope he makes so much money, he doesn’t need to rap anymore. EVER! And that he’d stick with production, at least he would harm hiphop less. This guy is like fuel to anyone (“outside” hiphop) who wants to talk about hiphop as a brainless, lazy, repetitive musical genre. The matter is not if he’s killin hiphop: NO ONE can do that. Considering this is not hiphop, the question is, is this music or not? Like anyone who doesn’t like hihop would say, “this is not even music”! Lyrics = 0; Flow = 0; melody = 0; production = recycled garbage, 0
