Released in October 2012, Sol‘s last DJBooth feature found the Seattle repper reflecting on the permanent changes his ongoing world travels had wrought on his perspective, making the Old Him a thing of the past. Three months and change later, the emcee returns to our pages with another dispatch from abroad, and an estimation of when he’ll return to the Emerald City: Sometime in April. A soulful beat by Nima Skeemz backs Sol as he further examines the gulf his recent experiences have created between him and his former life. Pascal Bennett directs the official video, shot on-location in Durban, South Africa. Though this promotional single isn’t part of any forthcoming project, we’ll keep you updated on Sol’s plans as he transitions back into his regularly-scheduled hustle this spring.
