Snoop Lion - La La La
Artist: Snoop Lion
Featuring: Jovi Rockwell
Producer: Major Lazer
Album: Reincarnated
Label: RCA
When you’ve been around as long as Snoop Dogg you’re bound to go through some changes as an artist. When Snoop first arrived he was a gangster rapper who smoked a lot of weed, and now, he just smokes a lot of weed. Now known formally as Snoop Lion, the Rastafari, for his new single La La La the Lion traveles to Jamaica for a recording session that produced a beat from Diplo and Major Lazer that bears all the hallmarks of the island’s distinct sound. On the mic a heavily accented Snoop gets his sing on, letting loose a slowly flowing message of positivity that should have people deeply curious about how his upcoming album, The Reincarnation, will sound. We’ll just have to wait and see, but in the meantime feel free to press play and light one up alongside the Snoop Lion.

Are we ever going to get retro, gangsta, street-oriented Snoop ever again? I like the island-tinged vibe, but the new stage name and persona? I give up....
PS. I see you, Jovi Rockwell! |

He had the decency to change his name because he knows this music isn't snoop dogg. Still a nice track though

why not? as an artist I wouldn't care much about opinions. I think it's more important to judge if the music is good or not. and that's a decent track to me!
