The art of being ‘fly’ and ‘fresh’ has always been a topic of conversation in hip-hop, but more recently it has been found in numerous R&B jams as well. Continuing the crossover is 112‘s Slim, who brags about being So Fly when it comes to fashion, cars, accessories, and everything that each of them bring (ladies). Joining in the R&B stuntin’ is fellow ATLien (and an artist on 112’s original label, Bad Boy), Yung Joc, who is under the assumption that his swagger can make a woman’s body “beatbox.” While some listeners might find the Oddz.N.Endz beat a bit too soft for the subject matter, its overall tone screams summertime and the So Fly kick off for Slim’s forthcoming debut.
I always respected Slim because his voice is so different! I think the beat is really nice on here. It has some slick changes that really set Slim's Voice off. The BASS IS KNOCKIN! I can play this alot! Yung Joc actually sounds good on here too! Another BANGER!
Slim is one of the most underrated rnb dudes of all time. Seriously this ish is cose to insanely perfect vocals, but the lyrics are what kills me. Joc needs to come harder and i can call this a classic. 112 was one of my top 5 rnb groups and when they broke up I was just hopin Slim would at least stick to it, and he did. Props to hard work Slim! 4/5, definitely a banger!
Hot hot hot, Slim is definitely the more unique of 112. Really bangin' bass for such a smooth rnb joint, I can definitely flow to this. I hope he comes out with an album soon.
This beat is sick and Joc does his thing. I think the track gets boring when Slim comes in, so I would say that this song is just OK. Maybe a remix where Slim sounds a lil more excited will make it better, who knows?
The debates will arise over which 112 group member is the most talented, but hands down Slim takes the cake. Although he doesn't impress me much (Joc, I am sorry), Slim couldn't have found a better A-Town feature guest who represents the epitomes of 'flyness.' Solid.
agree wit z, im from joc n i dnt like joc dat much. he lost my respect when he signed to bad boy. should used anotha artist. n slim is my fav from 112 afta q.
This is HOT!! Its common of what Slim would do and what he can shine on.. Alone on the track he can hit da adult crowd, Joc just adds the feel for the younguns and remix wit zoe or hurricane chris would top it off with a dirty south type of track 2 back it up!
Slim's voice sounds very nice on this track. I never really paid him much attention in 112. I really like the chorus, this sounds like a great summer 08 hit. Cute song, I like the Oddz N Endz production, too. I must have this.
