Former 112 front-man, Slim, continues on his path toward solo-career success, and this time he is sharing sexy and seductive Bedtime Stories with his female fans. Although DJBooth listeners, who have heard previous material from Slim’s upcoming album, Love’s Crazy, stated that they missed his days with 112 and were not excited over his collaborations with contemporary rappers Yung Joc and Pitbull, the velvety-smooth Bedtime Stories should bring back that post-candlelight-dinner feel of old. The idea that not every baby-making song has to be a collaborative effort hasn’t been lost on Slim, and the result will be the return of longtime casual listeners and diehard fans.
Loving the production. Slim snapped with this one. The hook is smooth and the mixing is nuts. 5 star banger! Good stuff tonite! Voice sounds a little fruity though. IDK why.
This is a hit. I know 9 months from now the OB/GYN wards in all major cities will be busy, if you know what I mean. I don't know if this has a jazzy or a soulful vibe, but I do like it--especially the horns. I liked the group as a whole and not as individual members. I hope they reunite for another album.
i'm now ready to see what this albums gonna look like, cause he sounds like he's bouta hit us with some more hits without his comrads. This is sex music, period. I like this feel right here.
