Since their album Pleasure & Pain was released in 2005, R&B group 112 has gone through many changes. Following their departure from Island’s Def Soul, a move made to form the indie label One Twelve Music Group, group member Daron Jones parted ways to pursue a solo career. A year later the remaining three members are each working on solo albums and the first up is Slim. On his new song, I Ain’t Scared, the ultra-thin singer is at the club with his eyes on a female; does she believe that he won’t do anything to her? Helping out is wingman Pitbull (who’s always been known to bring out a female’s inner freak), who treads a synth-heavy beat rather calmly. Look out for this 112 alumnis to release his solo debut sometime in mid-2008.
3 AMF's, i wouldnt be scared either. Slim's singin isnt making me wanna bust a nut on a chick. Pitbulls 20 second rap wasnt makin this joint any better.
YO, DJ Z I THINK U IS THINKIN OF ONE OF B2K'S OLD JOINTS, THATS WAT IT REMINDS ME OF. DNT LIKE IT..THIS THE FIRST I HEARD OFF 112 SPLIT IT SUX ALL THESE GROUP CNT LAST FOR DECADES LIKE B2M, DNT LIKE THIS....BUT IT MAY GET PLAY IN DA CLUBS. HE NEEDS TO DO SLOW JOINTS HIS VOICE COMES OFF MUCH MORE NATURAL.
112 was the bomb. The way they harmonized together was terrific and it created over the top soul music. That same magic isn't even present on their solo works, it's a shame.
super wackto the 3rd degree. it sounds like b2k uh huh song mixed with sisqo thong song. im a 112 fan not feeling the solo effort. anyone remember thate group ideal? what happen to them
