Though Skyzoo‘s recently been at the forefront of Booth consciousness thanks to blazing hot guest contributions to Analogic‘s Appreciation and Mic Legacy‘s Radio, it’s been a minute since he was featured as a headliner. Now, though, the Brooklyn native’s back in the driver’s seat with the latest leak off his forthcoming The Power of Words mixtape, a cut that finds him rejoining forces with Lyrically Inclined collaborator Wale for what can only be described as an all-out, no-holds-barred Freshfest. As both emcees rock the mic with freewheeling, braggadocio-laced verses, Illmind serves up a bouncy, organ-laced instrumental that meshes especially well with Wale’s expressive flow. If this fresh collabo leaves you itching for more of Sky’s high-flying lyrical stylings, you’re in luck—the Statik Selektah and DJ Drama-presented The Power Of Words mixtape will hit the Booth tomorrow, the 17th.

I wasn't feelin the production all that much. I mean its aight, but it sounds like its missin something. Wale and Skyzoo didnt really impress me either, and the hook is lame (not even fresh). I guess I was expectin more when I saw the names on the track.

I thought this was aight. The production wasn't the best I've heard from these producers but the overall song was decent.

The song's structure is nothing new, but Skyzoo and Wale compliment each other well. Wale outshined Skyzoo imo.

These two seemed to compliment each other well (like Jordan said), I would be totally up for listening to a couple more collaborations between the two.
Despite these two doing well in their verses, I didnt like the hook and the production was sub par. ^^ How could you hate Nike Boots? |

The lyrics/flow are tight on here but other than that the prod/hook is pretty weak... Ok, as it starts to bore me halfway through ... I hope the other cuts on this mixtape is going to be better than this feature...

Wale outshined Skyzoo on this one for me. Not bad at all, will throw this one in the rot.

Sounds like they put all their effort into the lyrics, and then rushed the prod n hook. Okay

I liked his flow and the energetic beat, but I didn't like the music, too repetitive. I'd throw this song in rotation, but it lacks something
