Ski Beatz - Time Goes
Artist: Ski Beatz
Featuring: Mac Miller
Producer: Ski Beatz
Album: 24 Hour Karate School Presents: Twilight
Label: DD172/EMI
In a day and age where rappers use fifteen different producers on a fifteen-track album, it’s actually a refreshing return to hip-hop tradition to hear an album where the producer holds center stage and the rappers orbit around him. Case in point, legendary beatsmith Ski Beatz, who luckily is following his outstanding 2011 release 24 Hour Karate School album with 24 Hour Karate School Presents: Twilight, dropping this upcoming Tuesday, February 14. Today, we have the pleasure of featuring one of the stand out tracks from the album in the form of Time Goes, featuring ‘11 breakout artist Mac Miller and Locksmith. Produced by Beatz (of course), Time Goes is a hazy and spacey production that takes time to truly develop. With both emcees providing a verse, Time Goes feels like it would sound right at home on a Sonic the Hedgehog soundtrack. So while you’re debating what to pick up for your date as a last-minute gift for Valentine’s Day, consider a box of chocolates and a copy of Twilight (no, not the vampire Twilight, the 24 Hour Karate version).

I agree with Z's review 100. Ski Beatz is one of the best doing it. Nice feature from Mac too, I liked it a lot more than I thought I was going to.

Nice beat by Ski and his flow is just right for the crazy beat he created. I'm feelin this a whole lot. Very creative music and the flow was really on-point. Locksmith ripped this and so did Mac. This is a DJ BLAZE BANGER!

I don't know why but I find this beat quite annoying, or maybe it's more the fact that Mac Miller wasn't right for the beat, I dunno, I'm not feeling this at all

Beats tight, , and Mac's flow is good enough. I think this track is a grower, I'm feeling it more each play.

I don't know what to say about this track.I mean I'm not a fan of Miller's work.I only liste to Nikes On My Feet. And Locksmith rap with Mac Miller.Man Lock would eat Mac like a Macnugget.Lock should do this, not even for Ski.I mean I wouldn't.Lock could kill 80% of rappers.e.g. mac miller, kanye west, ymcmb, rick ross, jay-z, even busta rhymes(since he joined young money c**p music bull***t) you know.I'd listen to this song, but only Lock's part.
