The fly-namic duo is at it again. The internet’s favorite stoners, Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa have been hyping up the full-length version of this song for months, and now, Scaling the Building has hit our ear-waves. Initially promoted as a single off of producer Ski Beatz’ delayed 24 Karate School project, Scaling was Under Pressure for How Fly fans across the nation; the song was teaser-trailered, begged for by all of the “Taylors”, and even had low quality snippets leaked by eager waiters. But unlike Under Pressure, this song exceeds expectations like a star collegiate athlete with straight As. Over a motivational, horn-laden instrumental by Ski, Khalifa kicks this one off better than Sebastian Janikowski with his signature flows about the high life. But it is Spitta’s confident chorus and chest-pounding verse that really brings this one home. And while I’m not sure where this song will land (the status of 24 Karate School is unknown), I’m sure that no one has made scaling a building sound this cool since Spiderman. Or maybe King Kong, right Spitta?

"Fly-namic duo"- I like it. Curren$y and WizK were made for eachother, in more than one way. They should consider a 8Ball & MJG approach. Clearly they're having a hard time pushing an album alone. Nice work from Ski Beatz 3.5

Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa were better than Ski, but he was good too.

I would love for Spitta and Wiz to do in album together, they both complement each other but still have distinct styles. I didn't like Ski's beat but I was able to ignore it for the most part and just chill to the lyrics.

I actually like this track and I think Curren$y and Wiz work well together but the beat somewhat annoys me. That repeated high pitched fading synth noise gets to me.

This did nothing for me. NOthing stood out for me. It's very chilled and relaxed as i've come to expect from curren$y but this was very boring to me.

SUB-PAR TRACK ALL AROUND... FORGETTABLE THEY SOUND JUST AS ENTHUSED AS THE REPETITIVE PRODUCTION. TOTAL LACK OF ENERGY AND EFFORT HERE.

I was real excited to hear this record in finished and final form, but after listening I am kinda disappointed. It is what it is...

This is cool, but that hook really brings the song down. Still pretty good though. The Jets never disappoint on their verses and Ski Beats' production was nice.

wtf was this, "exceeds expectations"????????

I didn't have any expectations, cuz i dont expect anything out of these 2...hook was boring...verses were average at best...wiz had a nice flow, so did currensy...but this is just not good

These guys both need to find more subject matter other than weed, girls, and planes

As I wrote on Currensy's Hangover track, if you're a Taylor fan, and a stoner, you'll enjoy this infinitely more than the more regular folks. Personally, I think people aren't appreciating how dope that beat is - Ski doesn't beat you over the head - but the verses are just ok. Sorry, just doesn't excite me.

@Hoamboy, you're super late. Check out How Fly. They got How Fly 2 coming out too.

As for this song, it better be on it.

I hate it when producers waste beats on wack rappers who sound like they snorin on the mic. Production = Classic, vereses = trash.
