On a new promo single, Skewby reflects on life’s many uncertainties. Backed by the head-nodding guitar/breakbeat production of FreeSol alumnus and fellow Memphis repper DJ Charlie White, the Freestyle Series alum conjures up a few hypothetical scenarios—what if his first single went platinum? If he started lying in his rhymes? if he made it to the Grammys?—before abandoning conterfactuals to concentrate on his present hustle. As for what’s next for Skewby, well, you never know.
