The folks quickest to give you advice about your life often need the most help with theirs. So when you find someone who dispenses some actual nuggets of wisdom you’d better listen up, especially when they make it sound as fresh as Sir Michael Rocks does on new premiere leak Never Slip. Fresh off his Booth-sponsored album The Rocks Report, Sir Michael takes this opportunity to spit over a haunting Tall Black Guy-produced beat that complements his mellow demeanor but reveals a darker, more introspective side to the Cool Kids emcee than we’re used to hearing. With When Fish Ride Bicycles barely in the rear view, it’s clear that Sir Michael has no plans to be one of those artists who slip up and go into hibernation once their at-long-last release sees the light of day. Good thing too, we could all use some more musical advice from the man. Never Slip is the fourth and final leak from DJBooth and Puma’s Uncontested EP, also featuring Gilbere Forte’, Emilio Rojas, Laws and many more and set to drop tomorrow, Monday, July 25 out now.

Yet another fresh record off our compilation EP with our friends at Puma. Sir Michael's laid back, effortless flow remains his best asset as an emcee. We are thrilled that he was able to be a part of "Uncontested."
