Capitalizing on the success of their smash single Party Like A Rockstar, da Shop Boyz decided to create a spin-off. Using the catchy tag line from their already mention successor, Totally Dude (or T-T-Totally Dude) was created. Although the song sounds extremely similar to Rockstar, the production from The Original Dream Team creatively incorporated a violin instead of a different guitar riff. If nothing else, the Shop Boyz have now proven that you can rap over damn near anything; whether it works is up to you?
I don’t understand why rappers take “tag lines” from they own songs and then try to make a totally different song wit it..Yung Joc, Young Dro..who’s next. At leasts their’s sounded pretty damn good. Mann to me it shows no creativity at all. I’m already tired of hearing party like a rockstar on the radio all the damn time. Now I gotta hear this @*#$!. I ain’t necessarily hatin’, but I mean think about it. My opinion...NO

i hate “party like a rockstar” but the remix with weezy is FIRE!. So get weezy on this remix add bass and u’d have to live under a rock to not hear this joint everywhere. tru story!
There iz a lil 2 much goin on on diz trak. Man the violins make it sound lik they tryna have a formal song lik itz classical. Im sure classical musicians dont bust out screamin t-t-t-totally dude!
