Hey Rihanna, in case you were wondering, you’ve got some company! Peaking at #36 on the Billboard Hot 100, relative newcomer Shontelle’s debut single, T-Shirt, has become the second international hit released by a Barbados singer signed to a major label (any Bajans reading this, applaud now). On a newly-recorded remix, Shontelle receives some accompaniment from one of RiRi’s labelmates, The-Dream, who just can’t resist the sight of his woman wearing nothing but his t-shirt. Shontelle’s debut album, Shontelligence, is set to hit stores and online retailers on November 18, followed by an appearance inside the Booth for an exclusive interview with our own DJ Z.

After hearing this track get a lot of air play, there's definitely a familiarity going on with it. The original had such a wonderful vibe to it, and the remix hasn't shifted (obviously since the general tone hasn't changed). Though I may be being a bit biased, since I'm a pretty big the-dream fan, the remix has definitely given the track a little kick and hotness to bring it out of a bit of dullness. What kind put me off balance was the-dream trying to throw a little island flavor at us. It was a bit off putting at first, but I definitely started feeling it after a second listen.

Yea I can deffinatly see the Rihanna in this lady. Another one of those remixes I was talkin bout (see my review for "Can't believe it" remix feat justin to feel what I'm sayin.) This song is not really blowin me away, but I can imagine it being a hit with lil girls. For what its worth, I'd play it for um. Not for myself though.

Dang...the original came out a long time ago. I remember I loved it and even hit up Shontelle personally to tell her the song was awesome. The parts in the first verse where "The Dream" was moaning "uh" was horribly retarded. Shontelle herself is still dope though. The Dream on the second verse was decent...but I'm not really a big fan of him at all. His buzz has left since 2007 and he is just not an artist that really moves me...maybe because of his lack of personality as an artist. He snapped on this...but it didn't really improve a whole lot. I'll still give this 4 stars. I think Chris Brown would have served this track WAY better though. Anybody else think so?

BTW, Shontelle always seems to look like SOMEONE ELSE. In her previous pic from a few months ago, she looked like a cross between Beyonce and Rihanna. In this pic, she reminds me of Vivica A. Fox!

wasn't a fan of the original song, but when i saw The-Dream's name next to the title, i just had to listen. He made the song better for my taste. He's just a unique/creative dude.

I used to love this song, actually it's in one of my cd mixes and I remember it has been difficult to me to find it! This version in even better, The-Dream sounds excellent here! I'm loving his part, voice, melody...song is catchy and enjoyable as always! Banger!

Damn, this girl is gonna give Ri a run. Not surprised as The Dream had a hand in with a few of her hits anyway. I do remember the original, but I like this one a bit better. With the guitar however, I can't help but want to shout out "To the left, to the left".

I love almost everything that the Dream makes, hes a genius. This song is not all that to me. It sure sounds good but its not amazing. They make a good pairing. I would love to hear this one the radio.

eh... liked it. It is definitely sampling Tattoo a little bit in the chorus. Maybe not, but sure seems that way.
