Shiré - Love Don't Fail Me

Thus far, all of Shiré‘s features in the Booth have dealt with the artist’s problems in life and relationships (see Don’t Deserve Me, I Used To Lovher, Excuse Me,and (Don’t) Lay Me Off). Now, however, the Baltimore native is finally at peace and ready to start all over again with somebody new; some apprehension remains, but she’s prepared to take the plunge in hopes that “Love Don’t Fail Me” this time. Maino (whose debut album, If Tomorrow Comes…, was finally released last week) provides the male perspective, admitting that he’s had his heart broken by many a woman, and Playa Cardz Right production duo Carmin & Ivan tops this easily-relatable cut off with a uniquely Northeastern-sounding orchestral beat. Shiré‘s debut album, Pickin’ Up The Pieces, has yet to receive a solid release date, but this cut’s appeal (and say a few rave reader reviews) just might change that.

 Shiré is a very talented young lady. Thus far, her problem (in my opinion) has been solid production accompaniment. On this new prospective single, she is delivered the goods. This could work!

The production is decent. Her vocals were OK, but didn't to too much to impress me. Maino's verse was actually the highlight of the track for me. (Never thought I would write that)

Her voice doesnt sound amazing, but she's good none the less. Its a nice jam... Maino does a good job on his part... Rotation stuff.

Ok I been following Shire' for the past year or so wondering why her label has not officially dropped a record on her, well now I know why. They have been waiting for a SMASH like this. This record is CRAZY!!!! If you are a real DJ or radio PD and you don't add this to your Rotation then you have truly been brainwashed by all of the garbage out there! The subject matter is Great, Maino delivers probably one of his best verses I've heard and Shire' finishes it off with a great vocal performance (A+). I will stack her voice up against any of these popcorn female artist out right now!

AUto tune can be done without in this song. This track feels alil out dated to me. I'm not sure, but her lyrics are easy for most ladies to relate to. It's not something that will get pushed, but I can see ladies in the mirror with the brushes singing this one. Maino brings an audience to this song that may not otherwise check it out.

Yo Big A u hit it right on the money! This would be weak for airplay. But as far as Da Shiznits comment about Keyshia Cole ...ABSOLUTELY NOT. Shire's voice is way stronger than Keyshia ( not hating on KC ) . The song is okay but she could come harder than that!
